I was just at Morrisons in Ayr. I lost count of trolleys with half a dozen plus bottles of wine / spirits combined with a couple of slabs of beer and that was in 30 mins or so. Must be some huge over 18 muti generation households in Ayr !!!
This post is a parody surely haha

I'm off work for another week. Between me and my wife 8 bottles of wine and a slab each of beer and cider is probably about right. Probably more if we do a hogmanay blowout

That would last several years in my house. Neither of us drink wine or beer. I think the last cider we bought was a 10 pack in the summer, I think there are still 4 or 5 of them sitting in the fridge.

Well done Scotland, that’s a decent effort. Would be great if we can continue or preferably even better that trend.

I can just imagine that Andrew Marr is preparing to grill Boris Johnson on Sunday regarding cases in England being higher than those in Scotland - then expecting it to be the headline story on BBC Scotland.................

Encouraging data. What’s the source of it? (Not doubting it - just interested to look through it.)

"Half a dozen bottles plus of wine"

Today is the 29th. Loads of people (not me, sadly) won't be working again till at least the 4th.

How dare they have a bottle of wine each day...

GrannyDanger has a lot of relations in Ayr, by the looks of things.
