That trite nonsense is really getting on my tits.

See even if Clownshoes was right about everything (he's not) - is that not just shite messaging, at a time where we should really be thinking about how best to encourage genuinely vulnerable/hesitant folk to participate in society again?

The idea that elderly folk should feel unsafe going to the bingo because the Cambodian vaccine programme is going slower than expected is just pish. And yes, that's taking it literally, but for more than a year we've been told to listen to his pish to the word, so he can't say now he's talking figuratively.

I reckon you have more risk of being stabbed on a night out now than getting a serious dose of covid. And I doubt anyone that's not a bam ever worries about that happening.

Oh f**k.....

Churchill Downs looks absolutely bouncing ahead of the Kentucky Derby.

Meanwhile, in one of the most vaccinated countries on the planet, Hamilton Park will remain closed tomorrow, and until who knows when...

The simpy replies are nauseating.

A guy wearing a kilt and a Freedom Alliance rosette was out canvassing in North Edinburgh today.

He seemed a bit of an oddball if not utterly OFTW.

Jason Leitch insists a a fan return is getting ever closer as the country starts to finally open back up and heal from the coronavirus pandemic.

But the national clinical director has warned doubts remain over how stadiums will look when the new campaign gets underway.

SPFL clubs are already in the business of selling season tickets under that idea and Aberdeen's promotional video depicting supporters returning to Pittodrie strained to even jerk a tear out of those with a dislike for the Dons.

But there's one massive asterisk. That, contrary to test events seen at a Liverpool dance music event over the weekend, we may be sitting far, far away from our nearest fellow supporter.

Leitch, speaking on the BBC's Off The Ball reckons time will tell on that "big unknown" - but we're well on track for fans to be in grounds on Premiership opening day.

"With a fair wind, if the numbers keep going in the right direction, and we don't go crazy, yes," he confirmed.

"I think there will be fans at the opening of the new season.

"The big unknown for now, is physical distancing. What are we going to do with physical distancing in September, or December? When you start to reduce physical distancing, you've got to have the virus almost eliminated in your country to make it safe."

Leitch also cleared up a factor that hasn't quite been put to those making plans for a fan return - away supporters.

Anyone that regularly goes to matches knows the journey, the community and the stories from a cross-country trip to watch your team can rival the greatest days at a home ground.

And the national clinical director explained how those days could be back in a limited capacity after a month or so, with different supporters clubs perhaps getting priority on matchdays.

He continued: "I can imagine the start of the season being like that, to allow everybody to get used to how that works.

"To get the one-way systems working, to make sure the car parks are safe, all of that.

"If I were in charge of a club, I'd be thinking, 'this is a big change, everybody's coming back, we've got to do this correctly. First six weeks, let's think only home fans, we know names and addresses, and then maybe some away fans from a supporters club so you all know who they are'.

"So it's still not open ticketing like we would love, and like we all want to get back to. Over the whole season, depends what happens in the winter. The winter is a little bit of an unknown in terms of the virus.

"We'll probably need more vaccinations and have a little bit of a surge with the virus globally.

"But I can imagine a scenario in which we start with home fans, move to away fans who we know, and later in the season maybe you start to get that open access for everybody."

I was about to post this after hearing it on off the ball earlier. Surprised nobody has mentioned it before tbh as it was absolutely fucking outrageous.

Jason says start of the season we should hopefully have home fans, then after 6 weeks of the season we might have designated away fans in supporters clubs who we can easily track, then by the end of the season (in literally a fucking years time!) we might have unrestricted away fans like normal.

f**k off Jason you absolute weapon.

The sad and frustrating thing about that article is that Leitch is not just a random "expert" or recluse boring everyone with his loser thoughts.

He's a man (an unelected, and therefore unremoveable, man at that) that has quite a lot of sway in what route the SG will go down due to his role.

An absolute melt of human.

Whilst Tam & Stuart are absolutely ripping the head off it at his presence on the show with terrible, matey banter after he’s just given the most pathetic and nonsensical bit of shite news ever.

They can both f**k off as well.

I know i mentioned it earlier, but we live in a world where there appear to be plenty of people falling over themselves to blow smoke up his arse for statements like this, telling us that we might be lucky to have some away fans in grounds in fucking October, in the same week there was a packed UFC event in America, and on the same day over 50,000 attended a racetrack in America, with no masks and what appeared to be no mandatory distancing.

I just don't understand the continued denial of the #vacscenes by (seemingly) absolutely everyone in (or connected to) the SG. What is going on here? What is it they are trying to achieve with this messaging?

I know plenty will, but I have absolutely no idea how anyone can put an X in the SNP box on Thursday and be genuine when they say this sort of shite is what they support and believe in.

If any of that stuff becomes more than just his bizarre lunatic suggestions, then the clubs had better have their legal teams at the ready. It would be another bit of blatant persecution against football, and football fans, in this country.

Thankfully the UK Gov will force the SG's hand on many things reopening. It will be absolutely impossible to defend nonsense restrictions in Scotland that are removed in England.

Any idea what’s going on in Moray with their numbers?

I was at a health board meeting on Thursday. The public health guy said they had clear contact data for about two thirds of them, the rest they weren't sure or hadn't been able to contact. Part of the increase was a workplace outbreak with spread to close contacts. Reading between the lines he felt their covid precautions were inadequate.

Theres only been 7 admissions in Grampian this week and 1 in ICU, so I'm not sure it's a huge cause for concern, but the board are concerned given the low numbers elsewhere in the area. Their other concern is low vaccine uptake in certain areas of Aberdeen City and Shire. Tillydrone, Powis, Fraserburgh. Seems to be deprivation linked, which is where outbreaks are more likely to occur as it is.

That Leitch article is shambolic. This c**t thinks hes in line to continue micromanaging everything to his standard of "safety" long after the virus is a total irrelevance. Keeping car parks safe for fucks sake. Car parks.

Aye, most fans that spend all week working, socialising with friends and family and generally going about what is by that time, an even less restricted life, are going to face the REAL hidden danger when they are parking the car at fucking Forfar....

f**k off you sanctimonious, try hard arsehole.

surely once people have had 2 vaccinations they can go back to normal living , whats the delay in saying that?

Or is their some good reason why its still a risk, I haven't seen anything to suggest that it can be a risk unless I have completely missed that
