Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Recommended Posts

Hospital numbers continuing to tumble despite cases levelling off at a level higher than was described previously as unacceptably high.

Absolutely scandalous how long these losers maintained the position that they just didn't know that was going to happen tbh. All to avoid having to acknowledge their costly Christmas bed shitting was completely unnecessary.

He's got an immune system, what's he taking the Ivermectin for?

Tens of millions of people, if not hundreds, have been prescribed Ivermectin in Africa, Asia and Latin America as an early treatment method combined with other drugs and it has been highly effective especially in Indian states who got their delta wave under control by issuing millions of Covid treatment packs for people to use as soon as they noticed symptoms.

In the UK there is no early treatment and the official medical advice (for plebs) is to simply wait until the infection becomes so serious that the patient requires hospitalisation.

Wrong;

Molnupiravir and Sotrovimab.

You are correct about the smoke detectors and, I think, carbon monoxide detectors as well. Anyway, it cost me a good few hundred pounds a few months ago. The electrician was telling me that he was so busy and it was all so lucrative that he had bought stock for about £12k to cash in on it.

About all this compliance nonsense, everyone should just ignore it and LIVE!!

Yup. Vaccinated, infected or both by the time winter is over. This was always going to be how covid is reduced into the background with all other shan illnesses. What has been accelerated in countries like Portugal due to such high vaccination rates will also eventually happen in more vaccine hesitant places due to prior exposure, just with more deaths in the susceptible on the way there.

What the f**k are you talking about?

Anti-vaxx conspiracy theorists who dabble in the livestock and anti-malaria pills are right up your alley, let's not be kidding about.

A question for the recently Covid riddled:
Have you been able to end isolation early by getting negative LFTs after 5 or 6 days?   I've had to do the full 10 days because results have remained positive.   Anecdotally, that sounds fairly typical.   It's a bit of a scunner, as I'd kind of assumed I'd get to escape a bit early.
My sister in law was similar, she was day 9 before she turned out a negative LFT.

Honestly, I think we might be coming towards the end of the thread.

Covid appears to be dying away, restrictions are slowly being removed, albeit too slowly, and there's so little to talk about that laughing at an anti-vaxxer catching covid constitutes entertainment these days.

I will know that covid is gone when this thread slips quietly down the page then on to page 2.

Ivermectin is primarily an anti parasite drug tbf.

Covid isn't a parasitic infection, though.

The post RE Fox was a flippant one, but a point of view that interests me nonetheless. Doesn't think he needs a vaccine as he's got an immune system, a point I understand even though I'd make a different choice in his position. But at the same time, he's treating his case of covid with a drug that isn't designed to treat a respiratory virus. The immune system means he doesn't need a vaccine, but somehow isn't good enough to fight the virus without support from other drugs, which he'll willingly take.

It's a perspective I find baffling, to be honest. Undermines the 'I have an immune system' argument.
