Listening to The Pretenders, some coffee & croissants, then going to the bank to deposit some cash to cover direct debits.

I hate it when people pay in cash; it’s so inconvenient.

A few years ago we did some work for a farmer who paid in cash.  The money stank; literally and badly.  Christ knows where he had kept it.

As a kid I worked at Knockhill at weekends, often on the gate selling tickets. On a big bike racing day, folk would turn up all sweaty, unzip their leathers and have to rake about in there for ages before producing some soggy £10 and £20 notes. Would end up with thousands of pounds in the satchel of money that stank of sweaty arses and balls. Still, it meant I could live the high life on the earnings. Where there's muck there's brass etc.

How do you paint that in order? Could you give a brief description of how you did it?

Really impressive.

Without getting too arty farty its a fairly straight forward process.

I do the sky first and work forward in layers.

Outline of the castle and the base layer of the plants, just adding detail on top after.

I did take a pic half way.

Nearly 5km, you must have some extension cable.

Uew matron!

I would imagine if you went back and forward across that length of grass a few times you wouldn't be long in knocking up 4.7 m
