The Kelvinside Academy entrance exam used to be a 2 piece jigsaw. If your dad was an FP, you got to see the box as well.

Diluting Jews.

Tea and coffee aren't really an ideal substitute, you're just swapping one addictive thi g for another. (As @Shandon Par will testify, when he finishes his 31st coffee today, in 6 minutes)

Is that not what they did in the death camps?

Re:sugar

Few years back had shingles and was told to try improving my diet. Cut out fizzy juice and after a year or so I didn't really crave sugar too much. Used sweeteners in tea as my dad is diabetic so didnt mind the taste.

If I get a craving for a snack I just have fruit or nuts/popcorn. Will occasionally have a magnum or ice cream in the summer but cant really eat sweets anymore. Would advise just replacing sweets with small amount of nuts and use diluting juice. Some of the sugar free ones like vimto or robinsons are class, add fizzy water.

I had shingles 15 years ago, followed by postherpetic neuralgia.  The issue of diet was never raised by my doctors once.

Have discovered that sticking sideburns behind my ears has stopped the wife wanting me to shave it. I might try to return to long haired mess by the end of it
