Wow so much going on there, the Chief Constable has clearly had a boob job, they shouldn't be that round at his age. They couldn't think of a single "P" word for the SNP and Willie Rennie has clearly pissed them off at a later date.

Anyone who doesn't laugh or feel sorry for whoever put that together is OFTW

Surely you should be reporting this person.

If I Could do it anonymously, I fucking would. It wouldn't make for a great atmosphere if I reported him and he found out.  Plus he's a very big lad (bodybuilder) and would batter me very easily.

How does it work, though? Don't you work in a builder's merchants? Presumably some customers have an idea of how much things will cost before they go in. Does he just mark up the prices and the folk pay whatever he asks without asking?

Not everyone knows the prices,  especially folk that have never been in before.

I need proof for a start. Evidence. And as I'm working in the yard/warehouse, I'm only if the office now and again, so it's not easy for me to see what's going on all the time and to prove it.

Shitebag imo.

Surely there would be evidence in the form of him charging more for the same items than he does with other customers? Presumably all sales are recorded?

Presumably you've got discretionary trade discount so it would be hard to prove it's been done maliciously. Maybe let a local paper, trading standards or a relevant charity know and suggest they send a white and a BAME shopper round to compare what they're charged. Or find a way of letting the screwed customers know.

beat me to it, yeah. I'd bet even a national newspaper would be interested in a story like that.

Although I did have a quick look at the .gov site and it looks like you lose your whistleblowing protections if you go to the media.

I'd maybe have a look on here to see if there's one that's suitable?

Competition and markets authority might touch it. edit: going by the description "Contact them about matters concerning the sale of goods or the supply of services, which adversely affect the interests of consumer"

Absolutely no shame in grassing the guy in if this is true.

I’d be disappointed if there was no internal way of dealing with it.  Remaining silent, if this is true, is complicity.

Why grass up a neighbour not adhering to Covid-19 guidelines but not an overtly racist thief? Wild.

I'm guessing fear of reprisal or losing job.
Not sure what the structure is but report to head office with concrete proof.
Don't give them stuff ahead of a meeting tell them you want to discuss something in private.
Imo

Ignoring the fact you’ve clearly completely made this up as usual, the term ‘coloured,’ hasn’t been acceptable since about 1970. Going forward please don’t use it.
