Arthurlie1981
Big 3 points for us today. If we had taken our chances at 1-0 it would have been a comfortable game but we didn’t and Troon took their chance to level. But thankfully we got 1 more chance in stoppage time and won it. Nothing much between the teams so glad to get the 3 points.

jimbaxters
With October being dominated by cup ties, would it not make sense to squeeze in one of two midweek league games under the lights before the frost comes?

Maybe, though Talbot are four games ahead of where they were this time last season and out of a cup, plus the league is on par with the EOS (but they do have a midweek round in a couple of weeks). Would make sense to try and get some Beith games played away under lights so they don't fall behind, same with anyone else in the Scottish Cup. Do Beith have lights yet or would they need to play those games away?

Not seen any announcement so yes they would (i.e. Clydebank, Glenafton, Pollok away are yet to be scheduled).

Shanner
Sore one for Clydebank. Benburb are one of those sides that can take points off anyone when they turn up.
Park the Buffs
On a similar theme to JBs from next season why don’t we give the premier league teams a bye to the last 32 of the west. That would free up 2 more Saturdays for league football in the top division before the turn of the year.
Thejackdaw
Have the chookie hens laid a wee blow into the bankies title ambitions today and left them with egg on their faces? That result has Ben coming

Last 32 a bit much but a first round bye to the last 64 seems sensible, would've given Cumnock, Troon, Glenafton, Largs, Beith, Benburb, Arthurlie a league game on Saturday 21st.
