We have a decent first XI. Some of our reserve players are journeymen who would barely get into St Mirren or Hamilton's first team. They are also incapable of playing the way that McInnes wants the team to play. We've discovered that we were actually very good in a 3-5-2- formation. However, that worked because of the players we have/had available to play that.....take away Watkins, Wright, Ferguson, McCrorie and even McLennan, and the replacements are completely unable to play in that formation.
