There's no excuse. If we want to go long then do it quickly. We make 5 side ways passes between the defence and one centre midfielder then go long to the isolated front man. We've done it for over three years now. They've been coached to play this way. The first sign of us having a bit of misfortune playing the 3-4-3 and he's gone back to what he knows.

Overreaction and doing the opposition a disservice.

HT 1-1

It’s been the mirror image of the game last week and it’s the same half time score line . As with last week we’ve been much the better side and had several chances. Durmus and Connelly both had openings where they should do better.

As with last week Aberdeen ran up and scored with their first real attack.

Only difference is our goal has came at the end of the half and not the beginning.

As with last week if we keep playing like this we should win.

Would be raging if that pen went against us but delighted it’s went for us.

Erhahon good, Obika linking well, Connelly, McGrath and Durmus all getting into good positions but need more cutting edge.

Well, that had a very familiar feel to it. The goal aside, we have been stinkin’ and St Mirren comfortably the better side.

Hedges form has collapsed and he was once again anonymous. As usual, everything breaks down at Cosgrove with either a foul or lost possession. Frustrating how disjointed we look - a famine after the feast.

Merry f{_}ckin Christmas.

It was a stonewaller, unfortunately. Even under the old rules.

Indeed.

Fraser was penalised for exactly the same thing when the ball hit his arm, in an unnatural position, from a cross.

Anybody who would be "raging" at the decision clearly has no idea of the rules, as ridiculous as they may seem.

I would say we have been slightly less shite than last week, but still a million miles away from some of the stuff we played earlier in the season at times.

Leigh is a defensive weak link - maybe put Hayes back (despite scoring) and McLennan on. Cosgrove needs to contribute more.

Ferguson went and curtailed himself with a daft yellow in the first five mins and may need to come off.

By the same token, I'm sick of looking like a decent team against Aberdeen and literally nobody else.

Don't think that is fair. It is only recently we have had players return from injury, suspensions and the extensive Covid problems. Played well against Livi and deserved the 3 points albeit only scoring one goal.
