The Real Saints
I hate it when the opposition drags our quality of football down to their level, but I’ll take any kind of performance as long as we get the win.
ATLIS
Ref giving everything St Johnstone’s way, Rooney should’ve been off the park. We need to fucking get a grip. -
DiegoDiego
We need to fucking get a grip.Well you're right there. Livingston fans taking this exceedingly well it must be said.
RandomGuy.
Two managers who have over thought this, IMO. Bartley on Rooney is absolutely bizarre. If hes still there when Livi open up at some point then he's going to get obliterated. Think we still need two up top but Livingston seem more interested in trying to get folk booked and win free kick than actually trying to score, so guess we might be fine as long as neither us or the ref fall for their theatrics. Not a comfortable lead and not a comfortable performance, but you can't complain. Still shitting it, as Livingston will have a spell of dominance in this half.
Afro
Our retention of the ball has been terrible. Couple of okay half chances but affording that space to Rooney is criminal. Real show of Martindale’s nous to swing this in our favour in the second half.
PauloPerth
So far we’re out-Livingstoning Livingston but scrappy poor game. None of our ball players have got going, complete lack of space is a factor but I think we’re just goofing it forward all the time. Would like to see Kane get hold of it a bit more so midfielders can get up in support. Any kind of win will do for us.

Rooney will make good runs but he will also make positional errors and Livvy are effectively sacrificing the left flank as an attacking option by deploying MB there. A more positive outlook required or only one winner.

RossBFaeDundee
How's Rooney bobbled that? Great pass it was as well. Martindale reminding me of McPake with his insistence in playing a CM at LM because he's the club leader. Surely get Forrest or someone on there.
Scrutinizer
That's the worst half I've ever ever watched, Two teams absolute pish... Livi wont score ,Holt,Pittman, Lawson Mullin, Bartley, should be ashamed of that performance, Big Big mistake playing Robbo up top by himself, Robbo and Devlin have done brilliant considering that midfield display .Everytime the ball goes out it takes ages to find another ball
Gareth_Glasgow
Brilliant start to the second half from Kane, Livi have barely touched the ball from his good work.

AJF
St Johnstone turning the screw here. Livingston needing to get Robinson involved to get them up the park.
tarapoa
2-0 looking a lot more likely than 1-1 right now
FrankChickens1
Just now, tarapoa said: 2-0 looking a lot more likely than 1-1 right now Which, by the laws of football, makes a 1-1 more likely
Grangemouth Bairn
I’ve got it on BBC Radio Scotland and the pundits are desperate for Livvy to win as they love Martindale. It’s actually embarrassing how bias they have been.
