I prefer a nice simple layout. Here's one from my friendly with SergioLoves. Also note that he tried to implement the Nimzowitsch Defence (the Franco-Nimzowitsch variation naturally) but I declined it. It’s a lot easier to be accurate with your moves when you’re behind, as you have less to make. I would have lost that game if it was a speed game, as the one day format was giving me a lot of time to plot. I tend to blunder a lot at the start as I don’t know how to open, but once the pieces are setup I tend to do better. With a bit more experience you won’t lose matches like that.
