Kit Malthouse on BBC (the policing minister remember). "A fixed penalty notice does not mean you have broken the law, it's simply indication that the police think you MAY HAVE broken the law and that interpretation is open to appeal".

Try telling your car insurance company that although you have been given fixed penalties and points on your licence that you didn't actually go through the red light or drive dangerously, and they shouldn't increase your premiums as you are completely innocent.

The Tories are doing their best to shake of their corruption tag by promoting crypto currency and NFTs.
I guess they need something now that the COVID contract gravy train is over.

It's going to be a jpeg of Captain Tom isn't it?

I think the idea is:

  • invest heavily in cryptocurrency
  • tell trusted national institution to produce worthless NFTs, which can only be bought with cryptocurrency
  • trusted institution's involvement brings new money to crypto
  • price of crypto goes TO THE MOON!
  • dump your crypto on the unsuspecting NFT buyers
  • LAMBOS ALL ROUND!
