As a constituent of this seat, I see a local issue from the time of Aberdeen lockdown as part of the result. paolo2143
It looks as though the Labour/Lib Dems vote dropped about 4.5% between them and that has all gone to the Tories so definitely signs of Unionist tactical voting. Let's hope it is not across the board as we really need SNP to hold all their constituencies and pick up around 3.

Gordon EF
Don't think we can draw too many solid conclusions from the two results so far. Both relatively safe seats, one with a wee swing to the SNP, one with a wee swing away. I wouldn't be extrapolating much out to the rest of the country based on these other than we're unlikely to see huge numbers of constituencies change hands.

With the turnout as it is, there's going to be a good few candidates getting that sort of stat.
invergowrie arab
I'm in the depths of despair now seeing Aberdeen Donside and having seen what's happening in Perthshire North. John Swinney had won but Tory vote up. Not looking great for those marginals. I will have at least another dozen ups and downs over the coming days though.
