Bully Wee Villa
If they were forced to sell their entire team before Sunday, that would be nice.

eez-eh
Absolutely shocking news, that. Man City’s team of ten thousand lawyers have their work cut out this time.

Given this investigation has taken four years, it is a reasonable assumption that the years following those under investigation - and coincidentally, there are four of them - have also seen the same apparent breaches occur. It seems from the initial publication that they are accused of not providing full details of player and/or manager renumeration. That in itself might just seem a footballing violation, but there are associated accounting and tax irregularities that surely follow it. Charles Stiles
Lawyers will be the only winners with the City stuff. As usual.

I think the players and management staff will have benefited quite considerably. Hopefully the lawyers do rake in wads of cash out of this corrupt cheating club.
MazzyStar
I’m sure the premier league will take this extremely seriously and Manchester City will have the proverbial book thrown at them… Edited February 6, 2023 by MazzyStar

Salvo Montalbano
Why wait until after the transfer window "slams shut"? Who are they likely to get in? Lampard obviously would be hilarious. The fire fighters (Allerdyce, Bruce) would piss off their fans.

buchan30
Just had a look at the man city fans forum and they are howling at the blue moon. They are convinced this is the workings of united and liverpool. They seem pretty confident about winning this case though.

It apparently started in a German magazine or newspaper article so sounds like them showing signs of OF style paranoia. No surprise they think they'll win though given they're now used to City buying whatever they want, including CAS decisions. Probably one reason no appeal to them is being allowed.
