SweeperDee
This Man City team are playing like a pound land version of Peps Barca, big problem is there’s no Xavi, Iniesta, or Messi to slice through. They look fucking clueless even with their fancy quick passing.

SweeperDee
Also to commentators saying Ancelotti wouldn’t have planned for how the game has panned out so far is hilarious. Guy is notorious for planning for a game on a game by game basis, no real philosophy so to speak. You can be sure as hell he has this planned.

Mark Connolly
You're right Steve, it's not a penalty, but the ref has given a goal kick rather than a corner, so he's made a c**t of it regardless

Theroadlesstravelled
Real won’t like going to the cauldron that is The Eithad. The City Group favourites here.
Guest ICTFCwife
I actually was expecting minimum 2 or 3 goals from both teams tonight. Was expecting 1 or 2 minimum from haaland. Vini Jr was excellent tonight tbf.I think if both teams play the way they did tonight during the second leg it will most likely go to ET if not penalties.
Satoshi
Strange in the xg data era both goals came from shots outside the box. Also in the past decades you might have seen a different style of play between the top leagues but Man City (with the Spanish coach) play in a far more typically Spanish way than Real Madrid. Both teams had the same number of Spaniards in the starting 11. In ten years 10 will Eddie Howe be managing Barcelona and punting long balls to Dan Burn on the left wing?
