The Tories seem to have been afflicted by some mass form of mental illness, judging by the stories of people who had to work for them. It is easy to explain. They were all encouraged to come up with new ideas. Unfortunately a lot of the new ideas were not all that new. I don't think the Tories have a mental illness, Truss was incompetent enough that she was saying the quiet part out loud. Most Tory MPs would love to not have to provide NHS cancer care/or literally any not for profit service to the plebs. She is not only a bad politician, but a bad attempt at a human being and has as much political instinct and moral integrity of that rotten lettuce and wherever it ended up. (Should have been preserved and displayed in a museum). It's notable that aside from when she looks foolish, that the media avoid her at all costs now. Not even sure she gets a look in on GB news. We should be forced to trot her out on the BBC every few months to just stand there silent while we all reflect on the collective horrific choices that led to her getting the power she ended up with.
