Old sayings that younger folk won't get any longer

What would youngsters make of CB radios and the clubs which are in every town in the 70s? We used to, as a 10 year old and my brother go with my dad to the CB club and sometimes watch Bruce Lee movies played on a proper old fashioned projector played onto a screen.

That’s a big 10/4.

Spoiler

Loves the CB. Only had a 2 channeler though, 14 and 30 so inevitably everyone ended up on Channel 30. Probably full of paedos looking back but all good fun nonetheless.

Saw someone say that Falkirk's defending last night for our second goal was like the 'Keystone Cops'.

Who are the Keystone Cops?

Like the Met, but more competent.

I saw phone etiquette/numbers mentioned a while back - did they standardise absolutely everybody's landline number back in the Nineties? I had a relative who lived in a wee cluster of six houses in the middle of nowhere; his phone number was something like 253 with a six-digit area code, back when most areas only had three or four digits.
