I think Scottish football will be happier that a bigger club with a bigger fan base has made it to the semis. Ooft, that must have been really eating away at you, digging it out 5 minutes after you've won a QF. Enjoy your night
Thumper
That draw basically seals it. The sooner Ayr find a new manager the better.
Thereisalight..
I dated a lassie from Falkirk and she dragged me to a game v Dumbarton once. Had a slight dislike for Falkirk since that relationship ended Just hope now that either you guys or ICT lift the cup. Do it for all the lower league dreamers out there

Oceanlineayr
Absolutely gutting, especially since we can have no complaints about the result. Absolutely diabolical management from Bullen to wait till Falkirk went 2-1 up to make substitutions. Falkirk played some nice stuff, while we defaulted to Hoofball after we went 1 up.
PauloPerth
Congrats to Falkirk. Can understand why ayr fans would be absolutely raging tonight. Such a meek exit out of a winnable tie with little thought or effort to change things from the manager. And then a semi final draw against a fellow championship team. I know folk will say these things happen in a one off game etc, but how many Scottish Cup Finals have Ayr played in their history? Hopefully not, but it really could be decades before such a good opportunity comes back around…

KirkieRR
Proper, enjoyable cup tie between two proper fitba teams. As will be the semi. I'll be there with my ICT hat on. The other semi? Meh.

kiddy
A Tale of 2 centre halves, Donaldson & Musonda. Whilst I don't think there was a hand ball, it might have been different had McGuire not touched the ball a second time. As I thought it would be retaken, there being about 8 players in the box when he initially kicked it. Good game & best Ayr support at Falkirk in many a year. Not surprising when you've got your best team since the days of Templeton & Sludden.

It's certainly been favourable though most of our opponents with the possible exception of Wick Academy would have been happy to get league 1 Falkirk.

Yes, if ICT get to the final they will do well to avoid a drubbing such as their 3-0 win v Queens Park Edited March 13, 2023 by Caledonian1
