I admire the faith in a board that has overseen Scotlands worst performing club over the last decade resulting in the the club that finished 20th 10 years ago now being a couple of places above relegation to the EOSL.

The SFA isn't some secret society. Its articles of association are there in black and white. Its powers and limitations are available for anyone to see.

Yes so go and read them carefully

That’s a matter of opinion not fact, obviously.

No it's a matter of fact evidenced by the articles of Association of the SFA and the fact that a resolution is having to be voted on at the SFAs AGM.

If you want to propose a counter position and be taken seriously you will have to do better than  "unamed people believe it otherwise"

No I don’t have to do better or pander to you - people with real knowledge and understanding trump your ignorance and bluster.  Fin.

Looks like Spartans can go on the Bad Guys list.

Time for the Spartans fans on here to hold their club's feet to the fire a wee bit. Fair enough they don't have an obligation to tell a Dumbarton fan, a Falkirk fan or whoever. But they do owe it to their own support.

FWIW this clearly means they are in favour but know it will be unpopular. If they were against it then they would simply follow every other club in saying so. It's an easy and popular thing to do - Christ, even Sons have put out a statement about it.

Why??? Some teams prefer not to conduct there affairs in public, they could be easily voting no.

What other reason could they have for not informing their fans?

They weren’t being asked to confirm to their fans, they were being asked to reply to an email from a random person. They may at a later date decide to inform their fans, but as far as I am aware they have never publicised their votes on any subject, for or against.

They could ignore the random person and still inform their fans though?

They could, but as I said they, as far as I know, have never commented on their intention on any other vote that has taken place, so why would they comment on this one.

Turns out they have commented, as above.

A useful reality check for anybody becoming complacent over the outcome of Tuesday's vote. On the flip side of this, getting them out of the Lowland League should help speed things along on having the numbers balance fixed where votes on the pro/rel format at the bottom of the LL are concerned. They were the traditional EoS/SoS club that was going to be hardest to shift through relegation.

You don’t know how they intend to vote though.
