Footballfirst
The SFA are acting like the Tory government by withdrawing a motion, rather than face the embarrassment of losing a vote.

jamamafegan
A glorious victory for Scottish football and a humiliating defeat for the SFA.
101
Looks like it's over in the short term the the Pars Supporters Trust just published Dunfermline's consultation results: 19 in Favour of B teams and conference league 230 against.

I would like the B Teams to accept their fate now and withdraw their applications as "guest clubs" for the coming season and for the premiership/Championship clubs to get together to form a Reserve League, with no restrictions on age, eligibility or fees to be paid.
Bairnardo
Get it right fucking up everyone who supported this shite, but in particular the Arse Cheeks and their complicit media. Well done to the other clubs who joined Falkirk in the Good Guy Lounge. No one wants Bigot-B or their minion followers in their leagues. No one wants them in Scottish Football. No one is buying the lies about player development.

Save some cash. Reserve league and loans probably doing the same job. If they've already sunk money into the Lowland and a new ground rental probably not.

This exercise in diddy power will make it very difficult for the SFA board to push the done deal you must comply routine again, so they will need to focus on how to have a strong reserve league again basically.

Dev
A cowardly withdrawal from having the vote as the figures were likely to be very damaging to the SFA Board, Maxwell and the three sponsor clubs of the conference league. Without having official voting figures others cannot throw them at this small group. That is a shame. However, it would be good to see the Lowland league turn a new leaf and not only reverse its' positive decisions about the B teams as soon as legally sensible to do so but also sort out the relegations/promotions situation with the Tier 6 Leagues asap. There is also the absolute need to sort out just what would help the Under 17 through Under 21 groups to fulfil their potential - another asap. Then there's restructuring. There are numerous alternatives but they should take on board what will help the youngsters to come through as best they can. Finally be wary of the SFA potential slight of hand. We've seen it so many times over the years. It needs to be rooted out asap. How else can anyone have any confidence in the SFA. Now should be just the start. It is not a victory yet.
