Selfishly I'm sad we're stuck with another trip to the Calderpark Cage instead of going down the magical Ailsa Craig coast next season and normally I want the pyramid team to go up. But I'm chuffed for the good guys here and I don't want to see EK's external cash model rewarded anywhere, ever.

Will your future be like previous play-off survivors Montrose, or more like Cowdenbeath?

Delighted for all associated with Stranraer. Falling to the Lowland League would have been disastrous.

Thoroughly enjoyed my day down the coast. Really good game and #scenes a few times during the game.

Hope for a better season for you in 24/25. Enjoy your celebrations 🎉

Honestly cannot wait for these highlights being put up by the absolute kings of lower League tv coverage.

Well done Stranraer

Cheers fir that

Be prepared for a very extended version. Gallagher goal is unreal.

Well done Stranraer , you guys looked decent in the pre season game so god knows how you ended up where you did , maybe the wake up call needed to push on , best of luck for next season

Great highlights video again, hope Stranraer do a Montrose and sort themselves out after the trauma. Also hope some of the extra support yesterday get galvanised and turn up for home games, and in the medium to long term Stranraer find themselves recruiting more locally.

The big challenge we have in recruiting locally is the sparse population – nearest big population centres are  Ayr and Dumfries, in contrast to Montrose with Aberdeen, Dundee and the big towns in Angus closer than Ayr/Dumfries. Although some local supporters grumble that we should be playing a wholly/mainly local side, that would either be our existing South of Scotland League team, or a west SoSL select. Don't think that would last too long in the SPFL. That having been said, we may have uncovered a decent goalscorer from our reserves in the last few weeks.

Young Edgar looks lively and a good prospect. Got some strength about him too by the looks.
