But I'm chuffed for the good guys here and I don't want to see EK's external cash model rewarded anywhere, ever. The big challenge we have in recruiting locally is the sparse population – nearest big population centres are Ayr and Dumfries, in contrast to Montrose with Aberdeen, Dundee and the big towns in Angus closer than Ayr/Dumfries. Although some local supporters grumble that we should be playing a wholly/mainly local side, that would either be our existing South of Scotland League team, or a west SoSL select. Don't think that would last too long in the SPFL.
