Congratulations Buckie,  see you next week

You might think about widening your gates and ordering extra pies.

Fair play to Buckie. I didn’t have them winning this at the start of the month, but you can’t argue they don’t deserve it given they’ve a 100% record against Brechin and Broch this season.

Whoever missed out was always going to have a lot of games they could point to where they 'blew' it. If Buckie hadn't made it today they would have remembered those three Saturdays when they couldn't beat lowly-placed team after good mid-week results. Brechin will point to their losses to their two main challengers and their general inability to beat better teams. Fraserburgh can blame their weaker start to the season - they were 10 points behind Brechin and had played a game more as recently as mid-February.

In the end it was a cracking run-in and brought a lot of well-deserved attention to the Highland League.

Only the emotionally blinkered would put money on anything other than a Buckie championship win imho.

We pip them with a late couple of goals last year, they respond by pipping us on goal difference.

Hate to say it, but told ya.

Congrats to Buckie.

No Chicken Littles running around saying the big, bad SPFL are banning them from the playoff for not having a Bronze license?

Well what is the position re their bronze licence and any waivers/derogations, etc

I think they must have already promised to make the upgrades required within a year to qualify for the play offs. There was a deadline to commit to it for any club who had a chance of winning a while ago.

Wild end of the season at various points it could/should have been Brechin/Fraserbroch or Buckie but Buckie held it together and got it done so congrats Hopefully they pump Ek in the play offs

I think we would already know about it if the play-offs weren't happening next week.
