Kelty v Kelpies Klassiko

That was another comfortable win, but Agyeman makes such a difference to us. Just give him the ball he's too big too strong and causes havoc. Mention to Gourlay he had a clanger for the third goal but he didn't let it affect him too much and saved Kelty from a bigger thumping than they got.

Firstly all the young team take a bow, fantastic backing and great to see the numbers growing. Never in any doubt today, thought we produced an accomplished and powerful display. Lang and McIver superb, and Alfie gives so much strength and width. Nesbitt’s goal was class act, as was the Keltys goal. Great width, power and pace, and no doubt the next two games will set our season. Trying to keep a lid on things but like many at the full time whistle, getting a real excitement………..

First thing’s first one of the worst penalty decisions I’ve ever seen today. Tidser nowhere near Morrison and then books someone else (for dissent?!). Just awful.

Not sure it impacted the result. We’re on a fair steamroll at the moment and our second half display was so impressive considering it would’ve been easy to sit in and defend.

Agyeman looks like a season definer. So direct and always finding gaps and taking people on in the middle of midfield.

Goals shared around again, great to see. Big tam Lang sticking up for Spencer was beautiful too. Onwards

You would still have won but the pen was a shocker. The two early goals really knocked the stuffing out if us.

The way we have been playing is great to watch but we're really open. Add that to a couple of mistakes & a team flying like Falkirk & you get yesterday.

I have no idea where the debate is coming from. It was a stonewall penalty. Morrison has zero reason to go to ground, he is about to pull the trigger and tidser  prevents him from doing so without touching the ball which is a foul.

Anyway, good day, just watched the highlights however which are crap. Just used the BBC footage and muted it and commentated over the top. Can't hear the atmosphere at all. Not sure if thats what the actual game was like as well for ffctv viewers?

Drawn our last two league games which we should've or could've won , hopefully have Moore and CJ back and also new signing tonight apparently, Walker back from suspension so hopefully full squad for Saturday, evening kick off for the tele so predicting a 2-1 Kelty win for the cameras

Mon Kelty

This prediction went well! 🤣

Very good performance yesterday, looked very dangerous throughout.

I thought McCann and Nesbitt were excellent, Nesbitt's goal was a cracker and he didn't stop running all day. I don't agree with folk who say that he hides or goes missing in games. He can lose form and make mistakes but I think those are magnified simply because he doesn't hide! When everyone's fit and available he'll struggle to get a start but he’s a good squad option to have.

Tbh for our first goal you were warned moments earlier when MacIver headed past when he probably should have scored with  O'Ware caught on his heels only for Henderson to do a carbon copy but score. Never a penalty but we'll take it seeing as how we hardly got any last season, the third goal was a total clanger from Gourlay although he earned his wages by pulling of some great saves to prevent a complete hiding. Great hit from the Kelty lad for your goal one of those the keeper just doesn't save. We were much better second half especially after Alfie came on, great shot resulting in a tap in for MacIver and Nesbitt's goal was a great hit, keeper no chance. I thought Kelty had a go tbh without really causing us too many issues but first half we weren't really at it despite being 3-1 up at half time. All in all a comfortable win against a side who we struggled against last season.

Any time the TV companies cover our games our media staff ask ask if we can use their stream. It makes sense given that they have multiple cameras around the pitch giving different angles. Falkirk have one, which probably costs a fraction of those a TV company has, and so will be much more limited in what it can do.

If they mute the BBC audio in order to use FTV commentators then it presumably stands to reason there will be no crowd noise.

The two volunteers who commentate were at the game and doing it live, as was the media officer who did the tech stuff to make it happen.

There was no FTV camera used for the match coverage. It was setup for the two postmatch interviews.

Aye, I fully understand and makes complete sense, just would of been nice to hear back the atmosphere as the young team were in fine form
