The problem Falkirk have is that teams like Montrose try harder against us than others. However, we should be beating these teams irrespective of that.

You just made that up didn’t you

Falkirk fans sounding a bit like rangers fans now

Well every team wants to beat Falkirk in this league, teams certainly seem to find an extra stride that they don’t have in other games. It’s an advantage all our rivals have over us.

Didn’t trouble Dunfermline last year.

What I saw of it that was a terrible game of football. Montrose sat in second half and we didn’t ever look capable of troubling them. Still a point up there isn’t the worst result against a decent side.

Montrose an outrageously diddy outfit.

Seems to be some confusion here.......

The opposition have Alfie sussed.

His whole game is about running at the opposition's defence yet every time he got the ball he either had his back to the goals or he was surrounded by 2-3 defenders. In both situations he had no other option but to lay the ball off.

Forwards and our passing at times towards going forward was off tonight.

MacIver was poor, didn't win his battles and the 3 behind were mostly out fought to the ball.

I'd have had Agyeman on earlier and even swapped Allan for MacIver.

Saturday was always gonna be a big game against the cove with 5 wins out of 5 but nothing is decided in December, that said we have to improve on last night, we won't win playing like that.

Never looked like losing but poor in the final third.
Montrose are very direct and our two CH’s strolled it. I don’t see the hype from some over Hester. Mediocre and he embarrassed himself late on coming back on when injured.
Onto Saturday

It was frustrating and cynical but I’d support any of our players to do the same in the circumstances.

If he never crawled back on then we would have a man advantage whilst in a prominent attacking area. Not any different from taking a yellow to prevent a dangerous counter attack.

Hester is an absolute joke. Ball gets hit off his shin and he goes down screaming out in pain, met with laughter form the whole stand then scoots back on to the pitch to waste time.

Montrose did what they had to in order to secure to the draw putting 10 men behind the draw which you cant fault them for.

Unfortunately missed the cutting edge up top tonight and couldn't bag one of the chances we had, Ethan Ross in particular taking a touch to try and shoot with his right instead of first time with his left after Morrison's long range palm stinger.

+ Ryan Williamson is still a knob
