Saints v Buddies 6/12/23

Recommended Posts

Clumsy from Dunne but we've missed 3 or 4 good chances and should've won the game.

Could've sworn the St Johnstone player was on the park when he threw the ball from the throw that led to the penalty. Does VAR not check that?

FT 1-0

Can have no complaints. Second midweek in a row we’ve turned in a brutal performance on the road and lost 1-0 to a late goal. Feel for the fans that have made either or both journeys, horrible.

We are on quite the slide.
Familiar story of us being hopeless upfront and not much better defensively.

Thats us got one goal in the last five games, and that was in an off own goal against Livingston. No goals against Dundee, Rangers, Ross County and now St Johnstone. Scary stuff.
This home game against County at the weekend looks very important now.

I'll take the points. Good that we got a bit of fortune going out way.

Bit of a stilted performance though.

Still, a wins a win.

As for St. Mirren, they should have had that game wrapped up long before that, so the penalty would have been irrelevant.

Either way, hard game. 1-0 either way and it will likely follow a similar 'pattern' to the County game in that both teams will huff and puff and a shitey late goal will win it one way or the other.

As I was fucking saying.
