Scot Gardiner throwing an absolute hissy fit and phoning up Sportsound because Bobby Madden said he wouldn't have given a penalty last night. Top tier tears.

Wish you hadn’t posted this. Had to go and listen to it.

Regardless of what you think it was, penalty or no penalty. Our CEO phoning up Sportsound is a fucking minter.

Go enjoy your Saturday Scot and take your dug for a walk and stop being an utter fud. Fanny of a man

No listened to it today but will never forget the tears from Gardiner when Utd got promoted during the covid season.  Bitter h*n arsehole.

Dundee United have always had the power to turn Scot Gardiner into a seething mess. Which is nice

I think that's just his go to style. We were stuttering in the league under Bomber, booed the team off and he closed a section of the Main Stand as he 'feared for his safety'. That was before he forgot to organise a shirt sponsor for us, naturally.

Scot Gardiner is an absolutely irredeemable arsehole, so it's good to learn that he's yet again proved it.  An utter turd of a man.

On a separate note, were any United fans perturbed to hear Tony Watt say how pleased he was to have a week off now?

There was a time when Dundee United didn't welcome being eliminated from the Scottish Cup in November.

There was a time when United wouldn’t be interested in a 33 year old player that St Johnstone didn’t think was worth offering a new contract to.   As it is United fans appear delighted with their signing of Wotherspoon.

Four clean sheets in the last five, three wins in four, missing half the first choice team and still managed to somehow grind out a result.

Watt’s drop of the shoulder to lose the defender and set up Meekison for the shot in the second half was the best bit of skill all night, and then he popped up with winner at the death.  Wish he was in my pub team!

Truth be told at times last night it looked like he was playing in one.

A far cry from scoring Celtics winner against Barcelona.

Wise up mate you're in the Championship.

From what I witnessed last night and the last few months, said 33 year old walks into that team.

Granted you were missing some regulars last night I believe ?

Wotherspoon will be a brilliant addition to Utd, I would expect.

For the avoidance of doubt, I don’t support the club from Dundee that over the last decade has spent as many seasons in the Championship as they have in the Premiership.  I support the club from Dundee that is in the Premiership.

Dundee FC whose crowning achievement over the last 45 years is to finish at the dizzy heights of 5th it the table. Who can forget the absolute delirium at Pittodrie among the fans and Bonetti running on the pitch as Dundee secured the great achievement of getting in to the top 6. The delirium was short lived as they went to administration not once but twice. Now they are boasting about just being the top league for 7 out of the last 10 seasons.  At least I have the lived memories of seeing my club win the league, The Scottish Cup , League Cup and play in a European Final.  I cant begin to imagine what it must feel like for having a number of seasons in the top flight as the only thing to cling to.

I completely overlooked the shift in big team power in Dundee. Got to say that Utd have been in slow decline over the last 10 years and it is highlighted even more so with this season playing in the Championship while Dundee are in the top flight with one more appearance in ten years at that level.

I even googled it and the only answer was Utd from 6 years ago based on league and league standings, how times have changed.

Must have been the 70's the last time such a change happened in Dundee.
