Salvo Montalbano
No thread on this yet? Great result for us on Friday night and more importantly a decent performance, especially after going 3-1 up. Matty Todd being back has really made a difference although it remains to be seen if he can cope with a game so soon after playing an hour at Firhill. Maybe Moffat will come in and Todd can be held in reserve for the last half hour if he can't manage to start but otherwise Jakubiak coming in for Holmes will likely be the only change. A win here would see us looking towards a midtable finish (think the top 4 is pretty much set now) and would really pile pressure on Inverness, but I'd happily take a point of offered at a venue we don't have a great record at.
parsforlife
Think the extra rest might be crucial for us particularly in Todd’s availability. Draw not a bad result for us but we’re capable of a win and that would demonstrate a massive momentum shift
Stellaboz
I haven't been looking forward to a game in so long. After Friday this can't come quite enough, I'm genuinely excited to see us with Todd back in the team and some depth coming off the bench. Last time we completely dominated Caley up there without winning, and then again at home. Absolutely no reason why we can't grab 3 points again if we stay switched on at the back. I really like Kane up front, incredibly hard worker and links up well without being an obvious sole striker type.
CityDave94
Our home record is absolutely honking, just 2 wins in 12. 11th November vs Ayr was our last home win in the league. No wonder other team's supporters aren't complaining about the long journey up here anymore. Dunfermline's away form is pretty decent, better than their home form this season which seems to be a thing for most teams in this league. Every game for the last 20 years vs Dunfermline ends up 1-1 and we are the current draw kings in the league. Safe money would be on that very score or a 0-0. The Pars will be on a high due to a little help from the SFA's finest, these breaks don't come often and by the looks of things the Pars needed something to go their way. I'm not convinced they are anything more than as inconsistant as the rest of us 6 teams in the relegation battle so this could go either way depending on which of both teams turns up. I don't think their result against Thistle is a turning point for them, it just means 9th place continues to be a hot plate. Both Ayr and Airdrie need to take their turn. It would actually be typical for them if they were leading against us 0-1 and we end up winning via a couple of dodgy ref decisions, foul in the box on on their goalie not given and a dodgy last minute penalty to us. Maybe a couple of decisons during the game that go our way when we are riding our luck. Is it not supposed to even out over the course of a season?

I think after us hitting the frame of the goal about 27 times in the match at East End, you've had enough luck in this fixture. (Yes, OK, so not hitting the target is poor finishing rather than luck, etc, etc and so on).
Wacky
I’m in a quandary, I want to go and roar the lads on, but that road is horrendously long and boring. Even worse if we don’t get anything out the game.
The Toun Clock
As soon as the ref blew for full time on Friday I was already thinking about the best option for getting to Inverness, completely forgetting the wife is away to London for work first thing on Tuesday morning. So that bins that but hopefully get a stream on the firestick. Amazing what a win will do. The last 2/3 months have been a really tough watch so to have a wee bit of a lift is great. Inverness has never really been a happy hunting ground for us but we did win up there two years ago so why not. I’d bite your hand off for a point at the moment, but if we managed to get the win it would really give us a bit of momentum going into two massive home games in the space of a few days against Ayr and then Airdrie. I agree with what was said above, I think the top four is set now. Dundee Utd and Raith will battle it out until near enough the end of the season IMO, with one just falling short. Thistle could be caught by Morton but even if they are I still think those four will be the ones in the promotion/playoff spots come the end of the season. With regards to the team, I wouldn’t be shocked if he goes for the same 11 as Friday. Big Holmes did a decent shift in an unfamiliar position but maybe he’ll come out for Jak who looked really good when he came on. Safe travels to all heading up, hopefully three points coming back to the kingdom! Edited February 26 by The Toun Clock

I think a front 3 of Jak/Kane/MoH and Matty behind should cause a lot of problems for Caley.

Aye he could certainly get the nod ahead of McCann, who didn't do terribly on Friday but I think in that position MOH gets the nod. All of a sudden we've a few options and I feel it allows us to breathe a wee bit. Not getting carried away after a good win, but if we can pick up a couple of wins in the next week or so things will feel a bit brighter, all still with our proper defenders to come back in plus KRH at some point.
Heaton
Or Mccann goes on the left with MOH right, leaving Jak to again come off the bench. He is just back from injury and so being a impact sub is good use for this imo
Stellaboz
I'd keep McCann starting and bringing Jak on, I think his work rate is still valuable if lacking quality. Jak coming back from injury is probably best still coming off the bench. But with a lot of games coming up, he'll probably be starting sooner rather than later.
parsboi
McCann on the left pls, that’s where I think he can do his best work. Cutting in onto his right, and having a go.
DA-go Par Adonis
Depending on fitness, I'd have MWH in ahead of Benjamin, Jakubiak in for McCann and Moffat in for Holmes. I also prefer Summers to Allan. There is an argument for McCann keeping his place and bringing Jakubiak on as in impact sub.

See this is where we should employ Cardle. Just let McCann practise coming inside repeatedly until he's as good as Super Joe. Seriously, get him specialist training.

parsforlife
I'd keep the same starting 11 and general shape but with instructions to mccann/ holmes to stay higher out of possession, possible questions are welsh-hayes over benjamin at right back and if todd is considered ready to start another game so quick after returning, if he's not his spot goes to summers/moffat and that may mean the wide men are forced to have the same level of defensive responsibilities as Friday.

We don’t do streaming at all anymore so you won’t be finding one to watch.
