tarapoa
If you try to imagine if peak Brazil 1970 had got the chance to play peak Netherlands 1974. This will potentially be the extreme antithesis of that. That was often the case when both sides were comfortably in the top half for a few seasons a decade or so back - now we have the current shower of imposters. Important three points for someone though, just to avoid sphincters getting too twitchy and ensure the alternative of a benign nothingness to end the league season.

Win lose or draw, nobody is getting sacked and fans on both sides are probably past caring given the way our respective seasons have panned out. No real sense of jeopardy. We're at the stage where we're looking at other team's results before our own.

Both will likely be on some podcast or radio show in 12 months cracking jokes about how badly it ended. Aberdeen fans, at least, have the realistic chance of celebrating a goal every week until the end of this miserable slog, with our rate of 9 open play goals in 27 games, we're due another 3 or 4 of them in the next 3 months.

1GregStewart
Don’t get the negativity from the Saintees here. Look comfortably enough on course for Premier League survival, a decent enough season.

If we did find a way to win on Wednesday, and you lose in Glasgow then we're two points behind your mob. We're the 3rd most successful team in the country in the past decade, your clubs only celebrated one diddy cup in that time. Its not a surprise you cant relate to why our standards are so high.
