pozbaird
We’ve had some good swimmers and golfers as well. Could do a top 50 far easier than a top 10.
DiegoDiego
ChatGPT suggested this chap: Quote In 2002, when the first inductees were inducted into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame, Eric Liddell topped the public vote for the most popular sporting hero Scotland had ever produced. ChatFTP suggested Brian Laudrup.

I he was but Jock Taylor the sidecar racer was on a different level imho. He would have been the greatest ever rider had he not made that fatal call as the riders union rep that they were going to have to race the final round of the world championships on a waterlogged public road circuit in Finland. Hopefully one day a film maker will get to tell his life story on the big screen

MEADOWXI
A tie at top between Murray & Hoy Worth a mention - Sandy Lyle - 2 majors Sam Torrance - lots of tournament wins and his team efforts with Ryder Cup Colin McRae - Best Scottish driver of any type ever Dennis Law - Ballon D'or and amazing scoring record Stephen Hendry - totally dominant in his sport Fergie - worth a mention as greatest sports manager if not sportsman Allan Wells worth a mention as remember watching his Olympic win when I was about 10. As teams some of the curling teams have done Scotland proud but not sure of individuals
