The Moonster
Police cars who don't follow the rules of the road. Happened to me this morning but has happened before - police van in the outside lane sitting at 55mph, not over-taking anyone, just driving along oblivious (or perhaps not oblivious) that there are folk trying to pass them. The cynic in me thinks they do it on purpose to try and force folk to undertake them so they can fine them for it. You should be able to carry out a citizens arrest on these c***s.

You should have flashed your lights at him and then when they inevitably pulled you over you could have explained you are allowed to flash to let other vehicles know of your presence as the driver was clearly unaware of you being there and also explained he was breaking the law by hogging the outside lane.

I wish I was calm enough to have thought that through, but I was basically just shouting "GET OUT THE WAY YOU c**t" and I'm not sure I'd have explained myself very well if they'd pulled me over.

Tried to find it when I seen you posting again and couldn't get it. Ah yes, the glory days when I was "nightclub famous" for about 3 weeks. Best bit was I started seeing my partner around that time and she was previously with a guy I was pally with 5 years before. He was calling me all the names under the sun and one night some guy stopped me in a club and says "you're Alan's pal!" and I couldn't help but laugh. Telling everyone how much he hates me but after 15k views on youtube he's telling people we were best pals. But aye *some* are still around. Had to do a quick cull when my mate got signed to WWE and didn't want anything that could get his baws felt so I think I made most of them private. The way things are now i could be publicly hanged for some of the jokes. Don't think there was anything horrible there but that doesn't matter to the mob these days. I'll have a gander and see what's there because I don't think i have the login information any more.

I was listening to Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus whilst driving along the M8 eastbound by the Harthill junction yesterday afternoon and there is a sound effect in that song of a car crashing, I had never noticed it before but it was incredibly annoying and potentially dangerous. I wonder how many people that song alone has killed. I am a nervous flier. I fell asleep with headphones on on a long haul while watching Valkyrie. I was woken up by the sound of a plane spinning towards tbe ground. It took a few panicked seconds of wondering why everyone else was so calm before i realised it was a CGI Heinkel and not my Airbus.

tamthebam
Driving on the A84. In front of me is a sports car, the sort of machine that should be thrashed round the twisty road I'm on. The driver though must have 9 penalty points as it's been driven at 40 mph and round corners at 20 mph. The PTTG on my nerves is sports cars being driven below the speed limit. You might as well have a Morris Traveller and a tartan rug.

Apologies if I'm picking you up wrong here but are you saying Bruce Dickinson just knows his planes? He has a commercial airline pilots licence, used to work for a company as a pilot in the 90s as obviously he needed the extra cash, and flew Iron Maiden around on tour in a 757. Taking off for the first time during flying lessons must be a pretty mad experience.
