I'm actually more surprised there are folk who don't shake the sugar sachet first. Though it does explain why the wee area can have sugar spilled over the counter. They didn't need shaken and they made a cup of limeade fizz up excessively and overflow the space themed cup which was great fun. If I did though, I would open them over the cup as that's where the sugar is supposed to go instead of shaking it like a Polaroid picture.
