My assistant manager, who took the payment earlier in the day, was told by the customer that he would be in later to collect the stuff. But he forgot to tell us that... So for the sake of 15 minutes you delivered horrendous customer service, lost a potential regular customer and got yourself wound up in the process. I've worked at places that were scrambling around in September to find somewhere that wasn't already booked up. I get the impression that a lot of offices, assuming they were happy with the place, immediately book ahead for the next Christmas. The first customer asks for something that you know will take 5 minutes. I've met you and had a drink with you, one of the (few) good guys from here, we've both said our pieces.
