Definitely did a bit for Lyon though, turn and bounce. The long morning session is vital for England tomorrow against the new ball - need to get past 350 imo.
Lichtie78
I think I’d rather be Australia in this position-but only just. Big morning session tomorrow with Australia having just taken the new ball.
Jmothecat2
Just discovered Michael Vaughan has blocked me on Twitter. A quick search makes it seem like he blocks a lot of people. Slightly odd though as the only time I've ever tweeted him I was complimenting him.
Fuctifano
All 3 of England's "unknowns" get to 50 as Malan joins Vince and Stoneman. Pleased to see Nathan Lyon is now 30, he must have been the world's oldest looking 25 year old. Game still very much in the balance though. Think 350 would be about par.
peasy23
Good morning for England so far, nudging the score along and not losing wickets. The big concerns for England were the batting of Vince, Stoneman and Malan, and all 3 have got 50+.
gy diamond
Three quick wickets for the Aussies and England now look it trouble. Will struggle to get 300 here.

Yep, game changed in the blink of an eye as Australia take 3 wickets for 4 runs.
peasy23
4 down for 24 as Bairstow tries to pull one and puts it straight up in the air. 270-8.
peasy23
England all out for 302.
Jmothecat2
Two early wickets are good for England, these two feel crucial for Australia though.
Jmothecat2
Ball gets Warner! He's been bowling well, poor shot from Warner.
Jmothecat2
76-3 at tea. Good bowling from England. Frustrated Warner which led to the wicket. Handscomb is the first Aussie who looks genuinely comfortable out there.
Jmothecat2
This looks out. Umpire gave not out, England have reviewed and...out!Handscombe Lbw to Anderson! 76-4
Jmothecat2
Good partnership between Marsh and Smith getting Australia out of jail here. Think this is still fairly good bowling but highlights how most the wickets are coming from batting mistakes. Some composed batting here and they are getting a good partnership.
Salvo Montalbano
Seemed a very fair wicket - wee bit of turn and bounce albeit not as much as there usually is, but one where you could compile a score. Both sides fairly evenly matched and as is so often the case the next session is vital. If Smith and or Marsh are still there then England might be behind after the first innings. A quick wicket or two and who knows. Also thought the BT coverage was better this morning with less ad breaks - maybe it was because they were into extra time yesterday that they were squeezing so many in. Some of the commentators need to remember they aren't on radio and let the pictures do the talking but otherwise I enjoyed my wee hour and a bit this morning.
Jmothecat2
On the BT Sport thing it seems like they do the adverts in flurries. Between 4 and 5 this morning there was an advert after almost every over, but then after tea there weren't nearly as many. I wonder if they are putting more adverts when there are fewer viewers perhaps.

Most people would be at work in the final session. Audience would be bigger up to tea.

Tea was at 4:40ish this morning so would think the final session 5-7:30 would have the biggest audience.

They seem to chuck in a single ad whenever they can, 99% of them for a bookies.
