Highlandmagyar 2nd String
At 2-0 down in the Ashes, I really don't care. Says a lot about your standards.

Lichtie78
Mitchell Marsh been called up to the squad for the Perth test. Really average player, not test quality I don’t think. Certainly not the batting all rounder Australia want, first class batting average is only 29.63.
Savage Henry
Desperation. Naming a player under investigation for serious assault? Great role model. Sports people aren’t role models. Parents are. Naming a player who gave a kicking to a violent homophobe? Gets my vote any day.

peasy23
Is one of the requirements for an ECB contract to be a complete fuckwit? Pouring a drink over someone is hardly crime of the century, but Duckett must have been living in a cupboard if he didn't realise that their behaviour was going to be under the closest scrutiny. And the players wonder why they get curfews imposed on them?

peasy23
Sunil Ambris out 1st ball hit wicket on his Test debut for West Indies v NZ in Wellington today. http://www.news.com.au/sport/cricket/is-this-the-worst-debut-in-test-cricket-history/news-story/59b5f56d5620acdcb7f249f412482e76 He only went and did it again yesterday. At least he had scored 2 this time. http://www.skysports.com/cricket/news/12123/11164731/watch-windies-batsman-sunil-ambris-out-hit-wicket-again

At least he had scored 2 this time. http://www.skysports.com/cricket/news/12123/11164731/watch-windies-batsman-sunil-ambris-out-hit-wicket-again NZ might not be his favourite place. He made 5 runs this morning before having to retire hurt. They just said on TV broadcast that he has a fracture in his arm and will miss the ODI series. WIndies need 321 to win with 4 wickets in hand but really 3 due to Ambris’ injury.

peasy23
England unchanged, although Bairstow will bat at 6. As predicted Handscomb drops out to be replaced by Mitchell Marsh. England win the toss and will bat first.
Aubrey Maturin
Cook goes cheaply yet again, sad to say it but Chef looks done. Anyway Stoneman having a blast before he goes for probably 42. Hope I'm wrong. Currently 34-1

peasy23
143-4. Root went with one down the leg side flicking his glove, then Stoneman went in controversial circumstances. Starc got him in all sorts of bother with one that reared up, and the Aussies put in a big appeal after it was caught by Paine. Erasmus was unmoved, but he was given out on a review with the slightest of spikes on snicko with nothing on hotspot.
peasy23
175-4 at tea. Decent recovery by Malan and Bairstow. Some vicious bowling from the Aussies today.
