Bad day at the office for Bob. Martin Laird leading at the moment on -4.

+3 Bob finishes on don't think it's too bad only 6 off the lead

Commentators just discussing how amazing it is that Phil has never lost the head on the golf course throughout his career...ehhhhhh...lads?

Perfect example of why Augusta is stupid. Obviously that's not Augusta but its just the same. When one of the best players of all time hits a mid-range putt slightly too firm he should have a tricky 5 footer back, not a forty yard pitch.

Its stupid, its goofy, and its like that on almost every hole at Augusta.

Peppy, booby, baby...no. Just no. We shan't be starting this nonsense again thank you.

Didn’t realise that Brad Faxon has joined the Sky team for the week. Nice guy and usually very informative whenever I’ve heard him so hopefully he proves to be a good addition. Fingers crossed it means less air time for McGinlay.

Probably cover for Beem since he's playing this week. Currently - 1 through 3 holes.

Munoz appears to have driven in to a bin in the hospitality section [emoji23]

Potential for the funniest approach shot of all time here.

ETA: fair play to him searching out the tidiest lassie in the crowd to give the ball to as well. Shagger.

You can bet that Catlin won't be any slower than lots of the players today, but it's a lot easier to ping somebody who isn't a big name.

Yep. That'll teach him for playing on the European Tour.

I noticed Cameron Champ shot +10 in that group so his form isn't getting any better.

What a round Rich Beem so far! Top lad.

For somebody who rarely plays competitive golf, he turns up every year and gives a good account of himself.

some of the worlds best a few shots worse off

Bob MacIntyre ended up not so far down the leaderboard as he might have feared. Tough conditions in the afternoon meant very few low scores, so he went from outside the top 100 to T77th.

Only problem is he is out in the afternoon today with a similar forecast.

Saw Rahm having a moan the other day about having to hit a 5 iron into par 4s, and there were plenty of players having to pull out fairway woods and hybrids for approach shots yesterday. Welcome to our world.

Connors had a fairway metal into 18 yesterday. It was a superb approach as well.

Apparently in one of the practice rounds, Zach Johnson had to pull a headcover on all his second shots bar 1

I really like Rahm but that sort of comment really pisses me off. Suck it up mate and don't be so fecking precious.
