When one of the best players of all time hits a mid-range putt slightly too firm he should have a tricky 5 footer back, not a forty yard pitch. Tough conditions in the afternoon meant very few low scores, so he went from outside the top 100 to T77th. Only problem is he is out in the afternoon today with a similar forecast.Saw Rahm having a moan the other day about having to hit a 5 iron into par 4s, and there were plenty of players having to pull out fairway woods and hybrids for approach shots yesterday.
