He's in the papers today saying he feels a bit sore but nothing too major.

He's more worried about the fact his girlfriend isn't talking to him

Yeah saw that. Hopefully the security guy (who is in the Canterbury ITM cup team) doesn't get punished for it. You run onto the field naked, you have to expect some rough treatment!

To be fair, its an end of season tour with only half the best players there (the other half playing Arg & SA), with a new coach.

Im not to bothered as its giving Cotter a chance to see where the problems are, while trying to get the squad playing to his game plan. We have won both games, although not convincingly (at least we haven't lost after having just moved up to 8 in the rankings) which in itself is a plus.

We have 2 more games, then a gap until the Autumn internationals. By then I think Cotter will have a better idea of his starting 15 and squad, which he will fine tune along with bedding in his game plan in time for the 6 nations

Great tackle, went for the ball(s).

Euan Murray returns to Glasgow Warriors, better hope they don't have too many Sunday games then....

Has he retired from international rugby? Geoff Cross is currently getting an absolute shoeing from the Argentina prop.

An interesting research piece from the New Zealand Herald....

I would imagine the Scotland map looks vaguely similar.

Fern Cotton's got her work cut out. Scotland have been fairly inept against Argentina, in a game we really could be doing with winning.

Late try from Pyrgos and even later penalty from Weir give us the win in Argentina. Always a good result winning there.

Bit worried for SA next week, but the fact we have ground out 3 results while not quite full strength and not playing well is surely a good sign.

Tommy Seymour was awesome tonight - he must start ahead of Visser.

Indeed, he's developing into a very good player at international level. Hart and Pyrgos made a big difference at scrum half, other than decent goalkicking Laidlaw offers nothing.

We ran South Africa very close last year with a far from first choice squad, and were on the receiving end of a couple of dodgy refereeing decisions, so hopefully we can perform to the same level again. The back row will be a major worry though, only Harley and Fusaro will be available to play. The only other players I can think of to bring in are Tyrone Holmes, James Eddie and Roddy Grant, and the latter two will be in training for the Commonwealth Games I imagine.

Yip, Holmes could be a shout, he played well for Glasgow, and would have a point to prove down there. Shame it's a year to early for Strauss.

Good read, bizarre to think that players had left from Scotland to go on and play for the all blacks long before we had any "kilted kiwis" coming back the other way.

Never easy to win in Argentina so the result has to be a positive even if the performance might have been lacking in some departments. Even if we lose next week it will have been a worthwhile summer with 3 wins so far and a move up the rankings.

Just back from the Waikato Stadium in Hamilton having watched the All Blacks trounce England 36-13. The strong and resolute English defence of previous weeks was breached four times in the first half and once when the New Zealanders were down a man at the end.

Superb occasion to watch, though couldn't get too excited given it wasn't my team playing. 25,100 crowd in the agricultural Waikato heartland, a fair number of Nigels dotted round the ground who very quickly fell silent.

Seymour has had a great season. Got to say performances have been poor, but grinding out wins in these circumstances bodes well.

Wales lose 31-30 in SA to a late penalty try.

Welsh going mental on twitter. Pleasing.

Brian Moore seems to be taking the brunt of it.

Here's a question. Once a penalty try is awarded, if the kick is missed, does the team get five points or none? Not that I've ever seen this happen.

They still get the 5 for the try.

Basically the conversion is taken under the posts rather than in line with where the try would have been scored/the offence occurred, so in today's case, SA had a kick under the posts rather than out on the touchline.

The "10 point try" is the lesser spotted one at international level - if a player commits an offence when the try has already been awarded (eg sliding into the the try scorer), a penalty is awarded at halfway instead of the restart, and of course they can opt to kick that at goal. Seen it a few times in club rugby, but not at the top level.
