At 8.2 ABV it tastes lovely and not like some strong beers that have no real taste. Would recommend. Seen that in big Tesco in Glasgow, Silverburn.
tongue_tied_danny
The Co-op have a deal on at the moment where you get 4 bottles of San Miguel and 2 Pizzas for a fiver. I never look a gift horse in the mouth so I snapped it up. I can't say that I'm enjoying the cerveza too much though. I've fully evolved into a craft beer w****r and commercial lagers don't really do it for me any more.
mizfit
Currently on becks. Had a bit of a football marathon today, swapping between the OF & Merseyside derby and then the saints game and the City game.Decided to get a few random bottles in from Asda, then went to Aldi to pick up the brewdog Aldi beer. It wasn’t very nice.

Le Tout P'ti FC
2x 2-pint growlers from Stewart's Brewery. Hopfenweisse Wheat Beer in one wee bottle, and Cascadian East American Pale Ale in the other.Listening to Slowdive and generally acting like I'm still in the 90s.

Eednud
One of my favourite beers. Bit pricey at A$11.80 (£6.47 / ¥881) for a 500ml bottle. @sjc hope all well
Duszek
Large glass of Gigondas and a good book on a Sunday afternoon = good times. Edited October 18, 2020 by Duszek
Hedgecutter
Yellowhammer Anytime IPA (Black Isle). Anytime? F*** aye. Eta: preceded (and also soon to be followed) by a Villa Garducci merlot, which to me has weird mix of glazed cherry and raspberry. An excellent accompaniment to some Old Amsterdam gouda, which is fantastic (the cheese certainly). Can't comment on the Yellowhammer or the vino but Old Amsterdam is amazing, I've always got a big wedge of it in my koelkast.
Hedgecutter
Thought I'd give this Latvian stuff a bash. Absolutely vile (have since noticed that it's 0.5%), so regrettably down the sink after just a couple of gulps.Onto the Thatchers now to wash the taste away. vikingTON
Picked up some Slovak lager which was stocked in Lidl recently as I haven't had it in a few years. As the region goes it's nothing exceptional but hits the spot for the first cold beer of the evening.
