What Are You Drinking ?

Recommended Posts

Drygate 'Raspberry and Rose' Lager. Apparently adding raspberry, lemon and rice is supposed to create a 'rose wine style' lager*, it does nothing of the sort. Not unpleasant but just a really mediocre version of their Tone Burst.

Really liking Ossian these days. A few from a Beer 52 delivery:

Cherry Hero from Monyo in Budapest- not sure, think I just prefer Leffe Ruby.

Chocolate Orange Pastry Stout from The White Hag Irish Brewery Company- bit odd but I think I liked it. Doesn't taste like a beer, more like some sort of dessert smoothie.

I really enjoyed the Cherry Hero, was much nicer than I was expecting.

Big fan of Ossian as well. First tried it at Ee-usk in Oban over the summer, was very pleased when their beer selection quality matched the quality of their seafood.

I love Ossian and it's only a fiver for four cans in my local Sainsbury's.

Well after all the drama of yesterday I was expecting you'd still be lying with your hot water bottle in your jammies.

I did say it with the greatest of respect...

Anyway, my condition had wore off by 1900 lastnight and I was able to straighten out with a hair of the dug.

Aye but, with the greatest of respect, you're an auld duffer

As someone who throughout his life has very rarely overindulged (yes seriously) I’d imagine the effects of drinking too much must be far worse as you grow older and your body cannot cope.

Can vouch for this up to and including the age of 35
