Craig fae the Vale
Pleasantly bitter, very happy, good stuff as usual.
GTee
I had a half pint of Overtone in a pub a few weeks back. I think it was an IPA. But at £5 for half a pint, thought that was excessive. It was really nice though. Aberdeen prices. Who knows. Will look into buying cans for the house.
Archie McSquackle
Cheating slightly here as it was last night and it was bad enough trying to keep up with the Motherwell game while out with the family. This IPA from the town's microbrewery La Graulenne is going down a treat.
Craig fae the Vale
Pressure Drop's Pale Fire and Donzoko's Northern Helles at Brewdog Newcastle this afternoon. Both very good. Got a couple takeaway tins as well to enjoy in the hotel before dinner and the Frenchy and the Punk gig tonight. First up is Vault City's Strawberry and Rhubarb New York Cheesecake which is absolutely superb.
Craig fae the Vale
Polly's are undefeated at pale ale production. Utterly superb.
Craig fae the Vale
Back at the hotel and it's another smashing Overtone.
Archie McSquackle
Back home tomorrow I'm afraid so this is my last holiday beer. Ninkasi IPA has won a French Bronze Beer Award - quite a light hoppiness but very nice. And with that, enjoy your drinks, particularly if you're going on holiday. Cheers.
Salt n Vinegar
Ok, must confess, a few pints in town tonight, followed by a couple of house measures of Tamnavulin sherry cask malts. I'm a bit intolerant in a couple of recent posts, but anyone who disagrees with me can .... do one... AnderooMFC
Not exactly the revolution/revelation I may have thought it could have been, turns out to be what you would expect. Initially full of cream and peanut butter like a slightly thinner milkshake, then the taste of the whiskey as it goes down (12% by vol). It weirdly feels like the flavours aren't really mixing. Like the aftertaste of cream and peanut butter are at one part of my mouth and the whiskey at a seperate part. Not sure I'd recommend it randomly, but if you like peanut butter and/or irish cream drinks then you'll probably like this.
Oldchap
Started with a Deuchers IPA and now on to this beauty before dinner. Good follow on from a better St.Mirren performance
