  1. Slow playing, middle aged women on golf courses. Yesterday, I was held up numerous times by a bunch of overweight, rubbish female golfers. Not that I am in anyway a good golfer, but I can at least occasionally avoid hitting the ball straight into the rough unlike these ignorant cows. They didn't even have the decency to let me play through. Should I have set about them with a 9 iron to speed up play?
  2. Preparation is the key-the more you know the material you will be using, the more confident you should be. Do a dry run, or several, on your own or in front of your burd/close mates. And also remember eye contact with the crowd, that helps make a connection with them and also makes you feel better.
  3. Plus a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches
  4. Some of the posters on this thread have a combined mental age of 5.
  5. Yes, yes, yes!!! Totally agree, especially when there isn't even any fucking sun about.
  6. There is a fairly simple solution to that problem
  7. A strange combination. Fudge the stud muffin and Sad Lib the virgin geek. Great material for a sit com though. I bet a little bit of Ad Lib dies inside with each dunt of the headboard against the wall in the next bedroom
  8. That sounds like a pretty good route to South Queensferry, I shall have to try that at some point. The good thing about going along the coast is that it is relatively flat and good for novices/lazy b*****ds like me.
  9. I have thought about that route, not quite ready for Arthur's seat yet, although my previous period of cycling activity a few years back saw me going up it a couple of times (not at the same time!). What route did you take from South Queensferry?
  10. My legs didn't feel too bad either yesterday. Shall definitely be going out again soon, should probably try some hills next time
  11. It would be the only female contact he will have had in the genital area, don't get him all excited
  12. Went out for a cycle on Saturday morning for the first time in years. Really enjoyed it, went along the prom at porty, along the coast through Musselburgh, past the race course and headed out towards prestonpans. Turned back before reaching there as I realised I would have to come all the way back. Came back along the john muir path to Musselburgh which was nice. Not sure how far all that was, but it was a lovely morning and I really enjoyed it.
  13. Just ask for a black filter coffee. Or an americano as Adam said.
  14. Cyclists who don't use cycle paths and cause queues of traffic. Bah!!
  15. I think they spelt your badge wrong, should it not be a 'D' instead of an 'N'?
  16. Vinegar will help clean it out and start the healing process.
  17. That can happen but it didn't sound like someone wiping a seat.
