I worked in a supermarket in the 90s where they played the same 60 minute Christmas album on a loop. It made me hate the following: Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime Perry Como - It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas Jona Lewie - Stop the Cavalry Johnny Mathis - When a Child is Born Truth be told I could reel off another dozen or so but these ones are the worst for me.

I had a fun excursion onto a kerb this morning after hitting a patch of black ice. The wife was screaming (literally). We were doing about 4 mph. Zero damage to the car.

Strange one, this. Scott and I have been watching the old Batman TV series. He mentioned to me that the actress playing Catwoman was different to the one in the 1966 movie. I said I knew. Lee Meriwether was in the movie and Julie Newmar in the show. Then, offhand, I mentioned that I thought Lee Meriwether was better in the part. It was as if I'd slapped him. He wasn't having it and was quite vocal about Julie Newmar. Unusual for him. Anyway, we were left at an impasse. So, I thought I'd check with a wider audience - who's the better one? Lee? or Julie?

Got a new food processor yesterday. Taking it out of the box and there's a metal disk. I touched it, and the tip of my index finger started spurting blood. turns out the disk contained sharp blades. Got it all plastered but it's such an inconvenient place.
