  1. Would they need that? Isn't it just a roped off pitch with changing facilities.
  2. Don't see why they would be disinterested, isn't it worth about £4k to them?
  3. There's also €100,000 for each round you play in qualifying as well apparently.
  4. If it's any consolation we didn't get a lap of honour on Wednesday because Celtic won the division.
  5. Well, we've qualified for Europe - what a time to be alive. If we finish 5th we'll be in Qualifying Round 2 of the Europa Conference League. If we finish Now that we've finished 4th, we start a round later in QR3 but will almost certainly be unseeded. The dates for QR3 are 4th and 11th August, with the draw in mid-July. The final will take place in Prague on the 7th June 2023. In terms of prize money, it's €100,000 per round that United play in Qualifying, plus a fee when eliminated, which is €550,000 in QR3 and €750,000 in the Playoff Round. This sheet on Old Bert's forum has our possible opponents based on current league tables and previous rounds seeding: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zpt5J7mz3t-53slOYtKzijZrZYCF39aHWd7MvZu-t1U/edit?usp=sharing Some decent sides in there!
  6. Nuts that's Carnoustie's first regional title since 1980-81 season.
  7. Some right oddballs in the replies asking why's she's tweeting about it instead of calling it out, as if they aren't the same thing...
  8. East Craigie 0-1 North End Midlands League (MD 36) Att: ~200 Tbh the Shipbuilder were very disappointing, as despite their pressure, they found it very difficult to create any bone-fide chances. North End, were very good on the counter and nearly got a penalty at the end of the first period, as their striker was brought down by the EC #4 on the edge of the box - which arguably could have been a red card. Despite two great chances late on for East Craigie, it was North End who, deservedly, scored in the 91st minute to take the three points. For a side that were in with a shout of winning the league this afternoon, I wasn't impressed by them. The Tayport result really took the wind out their sails. Think they've still got a Cup Final against Tayport to look forward to in the Inter-Regional Cup, which will apparently be played at Broughty Athletic's Whitton Park according to someone at the game. A great season for the Shipbuilders, but their 142 year-wait for a League Title goes on.
  9. Carnoustie Panmure book their Scottish Cup place by winning the Midlands League today. Would really like to see the winners of the Quest Engineering Cup get a place as well as the winners of the NCL, as the unlicensed places are very skewed towards the south of the country.
  10. East Craigie 0-1 North End A decent crowd of about 200 watched East Craigie's end to their league season. The EC were very disappointing, as despite their pressure, they found it very difficult to create any bone-fide chances.
  11. Was there at the start of the season. No Cover nor floodlights and it isn't really enclosed. Wouldn't be surprised if the changing rooms were too small as well. At least a season away you would guess.
  12. Formartine United's New Lodge Park is a fair trek from public transport. It's kinda a bit out of the village of Pitmedden - which itself isn't particularly big. Google tells me it's a 9 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, however the stop is only served every 90 minutes or so on a weekday.
  13. Doubtful. The "market pool" for the Europa League is like 10x what it is for the Conference, probably getting another £1-2m in the EL to £250k in the Conference League.
  14. Oooft, we've gone over 4k (our deadline was today tbf) Charging £31 for a dead rubber is some laugh.
  15. Ricky Foster saying Siegrist plays for Motherwell and could do nothing to stop United's goal. Then calls us Dundee. What a p***k.
  16. Think for the price £120k it's been the difference between finishing (at least) 5th and 6th, so by harming the 'Well it's made us that amount in prize money in the League, plus what ever we get for Europe next season, should we not massively implode from now til the end of the season. So good business for United. Thought we were worth the win today, not by much though. Need to improve by quite a bit before we play County in a couple of weeks (we're probably getting scudded by the Top 2, so let's ignore that).
  17. PPV is apparently going to be stopped next season (rather annoyingly) so the VAR could be a moot point.
  18. Do find it quite funny people calling Graham a jobber, as he is quite young and has proven himself this season to be good enough to play for both Scotland U21s and United European juggernaut distinctly average side. Agree with the shouts for Joe Chalmers. Absolutely hauwfing this season.
  19. Raith could and really should be 4-0 up here. Some shocking finishing here.
  20. The fact Tam Cowan's instagram hasn't gotten him cancelled yet is beyond belief.
