  1. Surely you meant demolish Hampden Park? Murrayfield isn't great but it is preferable to that shitole.
  2. 2021 has officially been a belter of a year for albums after the shitshow that was 2020. The latest Sarah Davachi record, "Antiphonals" is both weird and wonderful.
  3. David Marshall sitting with his thumb up his arse at Derby. He would have been a much better choice than Hart.
  4. Celtic really need somebody at the centre of that defence that can organise the rest of them. A Jack Hendry type character maybe?
  5. McPake isn't smart enough to try to own anyone. Regardless of that, Adams playing is good news for the Dees. Hopefully he will play a smart game and not lose the head. If I was betting on someone to get a red card in this game, he'd be reasonably near the top of the list.
  6. You're probably right. Let's just say awful instead and leave the fucking out. We were pretty good for 45 minutes against Hibs. Play like that on Sunday for 90 minutes and we will win.
  7. Jesus, it's only Thursday. 15 pages of (mainly) total baws and it's only Thursday. What have we learned? 1/ That there's some total donuts on both sides. Some folk need to take a breather here or they will combust before we get to the game. 2/ That we have two fucking awful teams sadly, both of whom will almost certainly be in the bottom 4 come the end of the season. 3/ Stand or kneel, doing nothing is not an option. As for the game, I don't expect much. The heart says a Dees win, f**k it's been long enough coming over there. The head says it will be much like the Edinburgh derby last week, low on quality, hopefully a little higher on excitement but ultimately, as we have two teams that struggle to score, 0-0.
  8. It's a yes from me, Clive. Shit, I knew this would happen
  9. Mercury Rev mark1 were an amazing band.
  10. What a magnificent pop song this is.
  11. I had a listen to Wrest. They do sound very much like Frightened Rabbit. I don't really get that overly earnest jock-rock sound. Idlewild did a similar thing but much better than either.
  12. Jesus H Christ, you mean this is still happening at Airdrie. I haven't been for around 20 years but assumed the nazi salute shit had been binned in the 90's. Saturday's incident has perhaps highlighted the need for those in charge of the club to address the abhorrent problem once and for all. And no, this doesn't happen at other clubs
  13. Yeah I'm pissing in the wind here. If people want a festival where Gerry Cinnamon, Nutini and Capaldi headline with The Fratellis, The Courteeners, The Enemy and a shitload of other crap bands that had a number 15 hit in 2005 then that is what Scottish promoters will keep giving them. More than any other country, festival goers here just want to get pissed on warm Tennent's and sing Chelsea Dagger at the top of their voice. A touch depressing, but hey, whatever floats yr boat.
  14. I was there last year. They were a long way away from licensing but maybe they've been very busy. I would say there are a few clubs in this league who are closer.
  15. Nice library sounds from Sven Wunder. Like an outtake from "Moon Safari"
  16. Foals, The Strokes and Jimmy Eat World. Hello finger, meet pulse. And a double whammy of Capaldi and Nutini for the Radio 2 crowd. Why do festivals in Scotland have to be of such a non threatening nature. Why not Bjork or Nick Cave or Childish Gambino or Radiohead for a headliner. Why not a supporting cast of Black Country, New Road or My Bloody Valentine or Parquet Courts or Aphex Twin. f**k me, it's all so beige.
  17. Whilst it is true that they don't play in Broughty Ferry, technically they are about 25 yards from the Ferry, the cut off between the Ferry and Dundee being the Arbroath Road. Support seems to come from both the Ferry and Douglas. It's fine, I'm boring myself here.
  18. As of this season, Dundee has a ninth team, Dundee St. James. Or maybe 10th, AFAIK Broughty Ferry was a separate entity until 1913 when it was incorporated into Dundee.
  19. More landfill bollocks. It's a wonder they didn't just stop all music after this. What a fucking c**t.
  20. I didn't think it was. Watched it a few times. Looked a good tackle but it just goes to show you how the most innocuous looking challenges can result in a bad injury. Terrible luck for the lad. A red card for that is a joke.
