Tried looking at from Edinburgh Airport but the prices are fucking stupid nowadays. Gibbs in Dunfermline, get the airport bus to Halbeath P&R cross the dual carriageway and it's right there. Probably getting on for half the price of an airport hire and run by a pars fan. If it's electric, change the element, easy and costs about £15 iirc.
Deanburn Dave
If it's electric, change the element, easy and costs about £15 iirc.My fan was working but there was zero heat. I normally don't muck about with high voltage appliances but having checked out YouTube thought I could replace the element myself. "Espares" is a decent website for getting the right element. Just put your make and model in, pay about £20 and its with you in 48 hours. Switched off the electric and replaced the element in under 10 minutes. One of the easiest DIY jobs I have ever done.

Aye, ovens are simple, very modular and spares readily available, replaced the heating element, fan motor and mode selector on mine, tend to get mine on ebay as find them a bit cheaper than espares. Just make sure it's described as a genuine part.
