Quick Question Thread

Do it in person. If your photo is a tenth of an inch off alignment the b*****ds will send it back and you'll waste eight or nine days waiting for that to come through.

edit: to clarify, this applies even to Check & Send, or as it should be known, Rush & Bollock It Up.

Cheers, that was my train of thought aswell

How do you start off a game of dominoes? Does it have to be the highest double or can you play any? Secondly the blank does that mean you can play it on any?

Ok, (this is for singles or doubles)place all domino's face down, shuffle them around. then you give yer opponent a dom, they then give you a dom. turn them over and highest number wins the 'down' .

You can play any dom to start the game as long as you have at least one other domino with one of the numbers. For eg, play a 4:3, you must be able to play a 4 or a 3 next shot.

The blank is blank. that's it, you can't play any domino on it, just another blank.

Hope this helps :)

me to say, singles/7 doms a player

same rules apply for doubles except its 6 doms each.

in the event of no player managing to get rid of all their doms, the one with the lowest value left. wins

So your son has been biten by a dog but skin is not broken, do you?

A. Still go get your son checked out just incase?

B. Just leave him be as all there is that has shown is just bruises?

He'll be fine.

Passport renewal,am i better to take a drive through to glasgow or just do it through the post office?

i will be asking for it in a week and i have 2 passports, one is full and the other is half full so im in need of a "clean " passport for various trips later in the year as my north korean stamp doesnt help me glide through customs as do a lot of other dodgy country stamps <_<

As Swampy has already stated, but I will also add, always appear in person if you do have those dodgy country stamps on your previous passport, they may want to question you regarding these travels, therefore, they would requested an interview. Again wasting your time of you do it through the post. I had this experience as I had Pakistan stamp & also India within the same week. They didn't like that and asked me to present my case.

Unless it has broken the skin, all is good. Still will be sore for the wee man.

If still not sure take him to the doctor.

If this was your dog, give it a really good kick in the stones every time it goes near the child. This may sound hard, but, best way to train a dog is to treat it like a dog. Usually why a dog will bit a child is through jealousy. Dogs as you will know, live in a ranking lifestyle, you being the boss have to tell it where it ranks. Very harsh at times, but better than the dog biting people (especially family members).

Thailand country side is notorious for street dogs, however, most of them have owners, where I live we have 15 dogs in a small Cul-de-sac with small children running around everyday, never getting bit (the dogs here can have rabies), but we never have problem with them has the dog know there place in the society. We only have problems when a stranger comes, understandable the dogs go crazy until the owner tells them to shut the fvck up.

If she can hang fire for a bit there may be a large plot of land close by in the Govan area ripe for new flats in the near future...

failing that, Renfrew is probably better than Govan / Ibrox / Cessnock and there are certainly buses from Renfrew to Govan, would imagine there'll be ones that go direct to the hospital.

Has anyone experienced problems with TMJ/ TMD before? I've had problems with this for months now with little help from the dentist/NHS. Any private sector recommendations appreciated.

I think I have that, no pain from it but one side of my jaw looks different than the other when I open my mouth! Hard to explain...i have tinnitus on tuart side too. Not sure what to do about it.

Why are most Chinese take-away places closed on Tuesday?

Don't worry though, lads, I managed to get one eventually.

Did you go to the one next to the railway bridge that gives away free gifts (gift wrapped I might add) with every pick up order?

Is the London Underground safe on nights, specifically Friday nights after 11? I'm travelling from Heathrow to the Centre and will be carrying quite a lot of cash with me - not that I'll be advertising that or anything.

Would strangely far rather be on the Glasgow underground at that time, London makes me very uneasy.

I'll have one of my men escort you.

PM me for details.

Does the heathrow express train not run at that time?

If so and the tube is the only way back into the centre then I'd guess it'd be busy enough.
