P.C
I recall watching a Scotland v England Victory Shield match at Stark's on Sky Sports too. Seems we can definitely claim this as the first Rovers competitive home match live on TV? Think we've got there eventually. I wonder if they'll erect a temporary box for the presenters etc to sit in or if we'll get to hurl abuse at Pat Nevin in front of the South Stand. Hopefully the latter. Id love to see what commentary team and facts they have stashed away for this one. Guessing most of the build up will focus on the cup final

Hopefully the latter. first Rovers competitive home match live on TV in the UK, I think you'd have to say. I'm sure that Akranes game was shown live in Iceland (which was why the advertising hoardings were all in Icelandic for the evening). Watching that clip above reminds me how angry I remain at what the SPL rules made us do to Stark's Park subsequently. Also, Davie Kirkwood at right-back? Where was McAnespie that day?
CALDERON
Might be after he was sold? I was gutted at that, he was my favorite player. Scored a belter of a free kick against Gotu and his pen in the final was epic.
Leggy Blonde
I don't remember van Hooijdonk playing that day, although he might have - Thom was an absolute nightmare though. Quick search produces: Absolutely splendid seeing the old Starks Park full there. I would of been 9 years old and most likely sitting somewhere along the wall in front of the main stand. Changed days indeed
Raith Against The Machine
Could someone who plays Roary's Lotto online do me a favour and check to see how the payment appears on their bank statement? I've got a payment down as "CTT Charity" and it's the only thing I can think of...

Broken Algorithms
Went along tonight and got my seat and one for my mate, who managed to make a good number of the games during the Anelka/Dalziel period. As I said on fantalk, its an unexpected windfall in between two away games at Christmas. Naturally the club are delighted. Hospitality is going well too, I'd imagine the club sponsors are looking forward to it!
CALDERON
Any season ticket holders who can't get down before the cowden game, they'll be keeping those seats back until 29th - which is pretty decent.

Indeed, they've got a separate stack of tickets kept aside for the season ticket holders. Can't have been a fun job doing that but they're certainly keeping those who put their money in earlier on happy!

kev23
is it just sit where you want as long as there is no reserved sticker there? I have a season ticket in the middle of the south stand but most of my mates dont so if we all bought tickets at separate times would we be able to sit together?

Season ticket holders can buy tickets for the seats around them. There is no limit on the number of tickets you can buy. Not sure if it'll be a problem now that they'll be on general sale tommorow.

Fair enough season ticket holders can get them, but also for any Tom, Dick, Harry or other big game fan that never bothers their arse? I think that's pretty poor.

As Turnbull Hutton has stated, 'Until we fill the South Stand, there is no point in putting the seats back in the Railway Stand' The South Stand is very rarely full, this is an opportunity to do so. I also think it may lure some big game fans back to Starks Park, glass half full and all that.

At least you can pretty much guarantee it will be Rovers fans in those seats. Once the public sale starts its a free for all including Celtic fans.
