No wonder we went with McManus in that target man role last night (even though it's not his game)
Raithie
I hope it is with immediate effect. With this becoming public knowledge he's not exactly got a point to prove now or to try and win the club over by showcasing his ability to win a new contract so he's hardly going to knock his pan in from now til the end of the season.
renton
Which, by the way with Stewart looking hobbled reduces us to a recognized two strikers in Hardie and McManus. Which at least is good news if your name is Yaw Osei.
Ding Dang Doo
Can't think of any other reason other than a fall out with Hughes. As Rathie says if that's it then it's completely over the top reaction and likewise i hope it's with immediate effect. Any update on Stewart's injury from last night? If he's out this leaves us with only 2 fit first team strikers Can't decide if I want this season to end or last forever. Certainly been dramatic!

sonicsco
Very surprising as he has had a few good games. Was awful against queens but had some good games prior to that.
Poet of the Macabre
Stevenson plays really well and then gets dropped for no reason. No wonder he's pissed off.
fan of the juniors
Going Junior to Troon is what I'm hearing . Job & paid to play deal
DumbartonTheSons
It does seem a strange one given the timing, but could it be possible that it's not due to a spat with Hughes, but he's realised what a lot of us thought when we was with us, that he is actually just finished as a footballer?
Ranaldo Bairn
I really really hope he's not jacked it because of a fall out with the walking bucktoothed ego that is John Hughes.

Jan Vojáček
Stevo is off to Troon apparently, after a deal with EK was called off this afternoon. Apparently they have been speaking to him for the past two weeks. What an absolutely bizarre turn of events

Hughes must have told him pretty early on he wasn't in his plans - so he's started looking elsewhere. Somebody should write a book about this season

It's a purge thing, I think.
Wee Sandy
Wonder how many of Locke's pals/signings will still be here next season? He has wasted so much money on duds.
fan of the juniors
What's the job? Troon sponsors company . No sure what they actually do but a few of the players plus the manager work for him
Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Stevenson plays really well and then gets dropped for no reason. No wonder he's pissed off. To be fair he only really has the very odd game at this level left in him. He's utter tripe.I'm absolutely not surprised he's off to the juniors.
