RR #1 Posted Thursday at 18:24 Share Posted Thursday at 18:24 Definitely needs white shorts.
Raithie Posted Thursday at 18:26 Share Posted Thursday at 18:26 It looks a lot better in the recent picture on Rovers Twitter. Last Rovers top I bought was the 2022/23 one, did not like last seasons top at all. Not 100% sold on this one, will get a better look in person tomorrow.

Here's hoping this season's away is another belter. I agree in the main, but even then, Joma messed it up by putting a big black label right in the middle of the map of Canary Islands, which was the defining feature of the top.
pub car king Posted Thursday at 18:28 Share Posted Thursday at 18:28 All the white flecks remind me a bit of this top, which was very much of it's time. Don't mind it to be fair but agree it would benefit from white shorts at least. Was any of the training kit available tonight? Those hoodies look nice in red and blue.

Agree - more likely to get a hoodie than a top, unless away is the famous twa blue hoops....
pub car king Posted Thursday at 18:32 Share Posted Thursday at 18:32 Wonder if the away is the same design but all white making the shorts interchangeable

Raith69 Posted Thursday at 18:45 Share Posted Thursday at 18:45 That top is honking has to be the worst we have had in a while, on a separate note we have another friendly next Tuesday at Starks with Annan, their friendly with East Kilbride was cancelled so have arranged one with us.
renton Posted Thursday at 18:53 Share Posted Thursday at 18:53 To be fair, our home tops havent been much to write home about for a very long time.
mrpaddyx Posted Thursday at 18:56 Share Posted Thursday at 18:56 Sounds crazy but couldn't we just have a plain blue top?
SanStarko Posted Thursday at 18:57 Share Posted Thursday at 18:57 The top does look a lot better in person I felt, when they did the reveal video I was thinking wtf is that. But then the players came in wearing it and it didn't look as bad. But we do seem to have a habit now of taking a decent top and then doing something mental with the pattern on the shoulders and then sticking a weird as f**k collar on it. Still bought it though.

buchan30 Posted Thursday at 19:06 Share Posted Thursday at 19:06 Its like the person designing got to the shoulders with the pattern, got distracted and then forgot to finish it before it was asked to be handed over to the club.
MICMAC Posted Thursday at 19:07 Share Posted Thursday at 19:07 Don't mind the bus seat pattern, it's the stupid square neck that puts me off Won't be buying it that's for sure
DutchBorderer Posted Thursday at 19:07 Share Posted Thursday at 19:07 Wowzers, you guys got done dirty. Very dirty. Let me make this worse for you. This design was specially made for Norwich City, based on their bespoke 'Weave' typeface, used as decoration around the stadium. Joma, or whatever supplier is acting as middleman between RRFC and Joma, simply recoloured it and stuck a different crest on. It's also by far the worst Norwich away kit in years and years. Joma didn't even pick a nice kit to recycle for you I'll share the link to Norwich' press release but quote the relevant bits below; Quote [...] this season’s away shirt is dark green, with a sublimated yellow and green weave pattern. The weave is a core feature of the club branding that was introduced in the summer of 2022. Here's a press release about the 'weave' that you're now being forced to wear; Quote Historically the club’s typography has utilised off-the-shelf fonts accessible by all. But now, to sit alongside our digital tapestry, the club and SomeOne have produced a bespoke typeface known as ‘Norwich Weave’. It's distinct, ownable and impactful, particularly In large scale formats. For the first time, It also allows the club the option to use an additional font on our back-of-shirt during friendlies and in cup competitions. Fans will also be able to personalise their 2022/23 replica kits with this unique font. Summary; you're wearing another club's stadium's decoration on your home kit for no reason other than that Joma consider you diddies.
Ro Sham Bo Posted Thursday at 19:11 Share Posted Thursday at 19:11 I don't think it's brilliant but I prefer it to last years. I'll be saving my cash for the red top anyway.
Pride of Fife Posted Thursday at 19:17 Share Posted Thursday at 19:17 Don’t mind it at all, neck probably not to my taste and went a bit overboard with patterns on shoulder but overall quite nice. As I’ve said since Covid, doesn’t matter to me cause I’m too fat to be sporting a fitba top anyway
Always next quarter Posted Thursday at 19:18 Share Posted Thursday at 19:18 TBH club won't give a hoot about written feedback. The cash register is all that matters and I bet it shifts huge numbers. Good detail on the Norwich design, not that it matters one bit. Different had it been a rival club or even a Scottish one.
