The New Raith Rovers Thread

Looks like our next Cup foray could end in tears too.......we've got Burntisland Shipyard in the first round of the Fife Cup :(

Already said in the domestic cup forum but if anyone's going along it's Tuesday at 7pm in Burntisland, £3/£1 entry apparently, been covered on their website, the ref appointments on the SFA site & Twitter, unsure why it's not on the Rovers site yet (maybe tonight or tomorrow night?).

The second division? It's the Championship! The Championship! The cheeky b*****d.

On the plus side he upgraded Kirkcaldy to a 'seaside city'. So he's not all bad.

It also refers to Rangurs as The Glasgow Rangers, not once but twice! Haha!

Oh and btw...Murray out.

After previewing some of the video, the noise from the away support makes it sound like an actual game of football rather than a graveyard! Which is most welcoming, apart from the few Fn's and Cn's! Haha

I see Falkirk are trying to sign hswhw, its such a pity our inept "manager" isn't pulling out the stops to bring him back. Our strike force must be awesome to overlook Graham.

Anyway, Murray out. Lennon in please

It's this kind of half baked bollocks that really gets me.

Absolutely hee-haw substance behind any of that.

Tbf, don't read it, it was a knee jerk reaction. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, some fans like fair play, some fans don't. Plus the other post I made, why are you unsure?

the went for the cheapest option (a guy with no management experience) who was already on the payroll and gave him a long contract after a run of results with someone else's team. Now, after possibly the worst league run in living memory (didnt even Anelka better it - someone come up with the data?) they were still assuring us that everything was fine and this season will be different.

Murray's contract extension came last season, his second in charge. While his first could be construed to be McGlynn's team, last year's was his (Watson, Booth, Cardle, Moon, Fox, Smith, Elliot, plus the emergence of Callachan). So he went on a 15-game unbeaten run with his side and was rewarded with a new deal - not unheard of.

Secondly, Anelka's side took one point from eight games. So, no, this hasn't been worse than then.

But why let that get in the way of an ill-informed rant?
