Kennedys_Moustache
He could probably replace Paton and Owen-Evans, to be fair. Experience and a bit of ability. Hard to see how this is anything other than an upgrade, especially since this is October and the pickings have to be beyond slim by now.
Bairn Necessities
I'm on board with the Prince... To be honest I'd take Naz as a replacement for Paton too
badgerthewitness
An outstanding piece of business by McKinnon. A player of Buaben's quality being out of contract is a real sign o the times. Purple vein, purple vein etc etc
kiddy
It's not Willo Flood, so that's a start.Only 30 & the sort of signing we badly need, at this moment in time. Only problem is, if successful, he can move on in Jan. Though short term deal may have been dictated by what's left in budget.

Guest
I am in the wait and see camp after the summers debacle. How fit is he? What is his fitness record like. Decent signing on paper. But till I see him I am reserving judgement
gav-ffc
He’s only ever won the Scottish cup and Scottish Championship. Just saying.

Quite a few of the singings we've made in recent years have had option clauses in them, which weren't always publicised on the day they signed. It's possible the same could apply here.

How long would it take to “reserve judgement”? When should a decision to sign (or not) be made?

Grangemouth Bairn
Some of the negative c***s on here would be raging if we signed Prince and the Revolution and got them and Sheena Easton to do the half time entertainment. Lets give the lad a chance ffs. At least Ray is trying something.
GMBairn
I think he will be a good signing. I liked him at heats and utd. He has been released by a hearts team that are currently top of the premiership, just because he can't get in that team doesn't mean he won't stand out in ours. He might already have a bit of an understanding with Irvine as well so that could be valuable.
